Food and service was great. There was a performance on the small stage. Libby and Glenn. They were good. There was a high school reunion going on also. Cool group!
Love the Martini Shakers. They were playing from 6-830pm.
Outstanding night of dinner with friends. Food was outstanding. Creatively inspired dishes, outstanding service and ambiance. After dinner we gravitated into the the main room to enjoy great live entertainment!
Great concept..white tablecloth plus Rock or Country music and good food, not bar food. Drunk college kids, with no place for drinks, assures spills. But I get the additional space and we will go back. "Get Sideways" rocked. Get them back.
I visited The Fennec for my 62nd birthday with family and friends. When we entered The Fennec the hostess âsaw usâ and offered a seating that she thought we might enjoy more. We were seated in the Fox Hole for dinner where it would be quieter so we could talk, but still hear the music. The service in the Fox Hole was great and very personable. They had a robust drink menu with original, delicious selections. The food was delicious, prepared and presented well. The music was not our preference, but we were not there for the music but the ambiance, which was perfect.
I read varying reports for The Fennec, so I wanted to write a review. The ambience was cool but weird. It was basically totally empty for lunch, which was the weird part. But it was clean and cool in regards to appearance. We had a large group but it would have been great for there to be some other people in the restaurant. However, service was amazing. Attentive and kind. Just the right amount of automatically coming by with drink refills, etc. We tried almost every appetizer. All were outstanding - we thought "oh basic" when we read the appetizer menu - fried veggies, corndogs, big pretzel. But everything was a gourmet version of what it was. The fried veggies were incredible and not to be underestimated. Across the table, we basically had a wide variety - grits, salads, burgers, fish sandwiches, etc. Everyone said their food was awesome. The fries are GOOD fries - beer battered. It was a tad pricey for lunch. But it was absolutely delicious and we will be back. It was awesome they could accommodate a large party with a reservation for a work lunch.

Appetizers(Conecuh Corndogs) and the dessert (cheesecake mousse) were the highlights!! Service was good and the onion rings were tasty as well.. would love to go back when a live band is present seems like a great atmosphere..
IMHO it was too cold in there. Had a light jacket on and was still cold.
