Alright place. Food is a bit pricey for what it is. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good location if walking.
$38 for two bowls was super expensive. We ordered our food to go this time, and the portion size was super small. We ordered waters to go and they forgot to give them to us (we also forgot to remind them), so maybe we paid for to go drinks and that’s why it was $38 for two bowls. The last time we dined there we are at the restaurant, so maybe portion sizes are smaller when you order food to go. The food tasted great and they were super busy. I’m sure their workers are overworked and with inflation prices are up, but they need to post the new prices if this is the case. Plenty of other great places to go in Birmingham.
It's usually great but this last time could have been better by the person taking orders. Waitresses were fabulous. Good atmosphere.
I’ve eaten here probably 15 times in the last 18 months. I think my order may have been right 3 times. I’d taken to checking my order prior to leaving and have them correct the mistake. This last time they told me one set of tacos was the other half of my order so I didn’t question and when I got home realized they were wrong and had put toppings on my tacos I can’t eat. Sometimes I can pick it off and sometimes I have to throw it away. I sent an email to their corporate office and 8 days later still haven’t gotten a response. I haven’t had this problem at their other locations. I wouldn’t have posted this publicly had I received a response. Staff is nice, though.
My order was exactly what I asked for... everything was fresh and brought joy to my tongue palette.. I had the build it yourself nachos and the pomegranate daiquiri...hats off to the chef and bartender...their hospitality is phenomenal... I most definitely will be back
There was a really long line and they were very busy when we were here a couple weeks ago, but the staff was efficient in taking orders and brought out the food so much quicker than I expected! We had burritos, and my Yo Mama reminded me of tacos my family would make at home when I was a kid. Basic, but comforting. The guacamole is delicious!!
I had the fat boy burrito with steak, the steak was not seasoned and had no taste. I had the street corn for a side and it taste like the corn was used from two days ago. The customer service is the only thing that would make me come back. I should have followed my first mind and went to 280 like I being going.
Loved it! I had a burrito and my wife had nachos, they were great. Get the side of corn, maybe the best corn I've ever eaten.
Our food was so fast and so good! I have a child obsessed with refried beans and he was in heaven! We loved everything! Staff was super friendly!
Our food came out super fast and was delicious! Perfect portion sizes for adults and the kiddos. Margarita was so good! Staff was super friendly! Definitely a must try!
