We have been here many times and always find the service very good and the food great. The location is very convenient in Southside of Bham and the facility is always well maintained and clean. All the dishes Ive had have been good but Im stuck on the chicken noodle bowl. Absolutely bursting with flavor and with that creamy lemony coconut sauce. We will definitely be going back, one of our favorites!Urban Cowgill

When I tell you this is one of the BEST lunches I've ever had! Thai Asian Fusion! Man, I could eat here everyday with the variety that they have.We had Crab Angel's, Surin Baskets, Volcano Roll, Wonton soup, Coconut soup, Ebi Ten Maki, Zueyi Gani, and Blue Dolphin Fun-Tini to set everything off! The Fun-Tini was AMAZING. I almost forgot about the Creme Brulee....OMG, it was so good, absolutely Devine. The server was extremely knowledgeable which made the experience more enjoyable. I can't wait to come back to Birmingham just to eat at Surin West!

The atmosphere was very pleasant!! The food was phenomenal!! Appetizers were simply wonderful!!

Had dinner here with family. Portions sizes were adequate. Food was good, but much more bland than the Thai food I eat at home in the Pacific Northwest or have had other places. Waiter was friendly and the food arrived in good time. I have eaten here before and at the Crestline location. I will consider it the next time I am in Bhm.

Their happy hour is great!! Spicy tuna roll and wine under $10!

Food was extremely bland and no flavor at all. I don’t know why so many people love this place. I spent $30 and 80% of it is going in the trash. Just what a horrible meal.

Nice ambiance. Just might have to do a little geo calculation to find the building from the parking lot

Just went there for lunch after my appointments with a deaf club. I had the Tofu Coconut Soup as an appetizer which is surprisingly good, very hearty then had the Chicken Noodle Bowl, a bit heavy on the peanut lemon curry sauce, couldn't finish it because of the sauce, if they would lighten up the sauce, I would eat the whole thing in a flash but otherwise I enjoyed it... Will definitely go back and eat there if I have a craving for Thai food.

The Chicken Noodle Bowl at Surin is what dreams are made of—the crunch of the romaine, the lemony ginger flavor of the curry, plus chicken grilled perfection. Always yummy. And bonus, excellent as leftovers (if you can resist and not consume the whole serving!!).

Thai food, good for lunch and dinner. It has a nice drink menu. Right in down town parking can be hard to find during peak hours.
