Love both Surin locations. Never had a bad meal or experience while dining here. The Pad See U is one of my favorite dishes in the B’ham area, and my wife enjoyed the half chicken with the tasty fried rice. Also, not pictured is their coconut curry soup only because it’s so dang good I slurped it all down before I thought to take a photo. You won’t be disappointed!
Food was very good and service was great. The Crab Angel appetizers were fantastic. I had the spicy beef salad and two others had the chicken noodle bowls from the lunch menu, and one had the lamb from the main menu and they were all very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I love Surin 280 for the Surin Baskets. They are delightful little sweet and savory mouthfuls for deliciousness. Their coconut soup is heaven! And the Massaman chicken was great too! I try to go there whenever I’m in Birmingham.
Part of the Surin of Thailand family with multiple locations in Atlanta and Birmingham. Reliably good food, especially the Spicy Beef Salad and Pad See U/Ew!
Great atmosphere. Very clean. The staff were nice. The food was delicious nit was my first time having Thai food and I really enjoyed it. Everything was well seasoned. I got the Pad See You with shrimp. My husband got the lamb chops. The food was served pretty quickly. We also tried the Yummi Yummi roll and the Brazilian Cachaca drink; I highly recommend both. We will return!
Great food, friend server, fantastic lunch specials. I had the curry and Khoa Man Gai. Khoa was good but the curry was to die for. The lunch Special (pictured below) was the best rotisserie chicken I had in the city of Birmingham. Huge 1/2 of a chicken plus shrimp fried rice. This is my go to item for Surin.

I am definitely coming back! The sushi, delicious, the coconut soup had me looking up recipes! Met some fellow realtors here for a lunch meeting. It was wonderful!

Surin 280 continues to impress. I’ve been here many times and they never fail. Great Thai food and good service combines to be a winning scenario. Visit here and sit at the bar to talk to regular locals. Great spot. I’ll definitely be back.UrbanCowgillMarch 2022
