I went there this afternoon for the first time and glad that I did. These are excellent and taste better than chain operated stores.
Delicious, light cake donuts made to order. This means they are as good as they're meant to be when you get them. And they're very good. The sauces we had were tasty and creative. Best of all, the two young employees were polite, friendly, and seemed to enjoy doing the job. Highly recommend.

Delicious and tasty donuts, albeit pricey. Makes my mouth water just thinking about them!Took 20 to work but two never made it, IDK why. When word got around, they vanished quickly! People were asking where I got them!
We waited for doughnuts for 15 minutes. We never received them. They were not busy. Eventually, I requested a refund as my young daughter was crying because she did not receive her donuts. A clueless employee said the donuts were being made. Another employee came out and I asked him about the donuts. He told me he had made them and someone else must have already taken them. I was told I was refunded for the donuts. No offer for donuts was made at that point. We left with a crying little girl.
I had really high hopes for this local business and was looking forward to making this my new regular donut place since it isn’t far from my work. Sad to say, the donuts really weren’t anything impressive. Not great flavors, and underwhelming. ?Maybe it was an off day, so may try again in the near future.
I love Sons Donuts! Their carefully crafted flavors never disappoint. I placed a catering order this evening for next week, and Clayton was super helpful in recommending what was the best way to ensure a variety. I look forward to having visitors in Birmingham so that I can take them here!
This shop is so cute and welcoming. They make everything to order, with several glazes and toppings to choose from. It’s the perfect little breakfast stop, or if you need some sweets for a party. Super nice and helpful staff.
Heard great things about the shop and wanted to see for myself. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. Watched the donuts come out hot and ready. You will not go home eating just one. Loved the varieties and how they come with dipping sauces. Amazing!
