Great food and wonderful service. Thanks for making our holiday great.

Food was good, but everything was cold. Really like the place the staff is excellent. Wish they would concentrate on making sure that the food arrives hot.

My husband and I went for our anniversary last Sunday AND EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!! We both ordered the sweet heat chicken with French toast bites. I ordered the Ruby mimosa to drink & it was great lol! We also ordered the pig candy aka candied bacon pieces, sooooo good! Make sure to get on the waiting list!!! Highly recommend 10/10 ⭐️

Fast service got our food in a timely manner! Nice brunch and cocktail restaurant! Friendly

Excellent service and great food. I had the crawfish and grit cake Benedict- it was really tasty. Weather was nice so we sat on the patio and enjoyed a lovely brunch. The wait staff are polite, on task, and generally help make for a good atmosphere.

So, the food was really good…and our waiter was amazing. The hostess who sat us…oh my, she was incredibly rude. We went for my bday brunch…checked in online and everything. First, our waitlist place was cancelled even though our party checked in. So supposedly they fixed that. But then when I asked she said wait for our whole party…we’re here lol. So then we get seated and she proceeds to tell us if our other guest shows up she will not be able order unless we wanted to get back on the waitlist. 4 of 5 of us were there and we were at a table already (5th person a maybe) so then we asked if we could just order for her in case…so she said, we could but if it gets cold we couldn’t complain. Like really….then she proceeded to tell our server to make sure he knew our guest wasn’t allowed to order if she came. Other than that…my flight of mimosa’s were great and the Sweet Heat chicken and French toast was amazing ?

Just ate at Ruby Sunshine for the first time, a New Orleans-themed Brunch restaurant. As soon as we came in, the hosts/hostesses greeted us with bright smiles and sat us at our table. Our server, Jason, was really kind and made sure the whole table was engaged and taken care of. They checked on us multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Trifecta, which was 3 Benedict samples on one plate, the Chicken St. Charles, Bayou Shrimp, and Eggs Cochon. The Trifecta is a good choice for first-timers so you can see what you really like. The others in my group ordered Shrimp and Grits, Pancakes, and Sweet Heat Chicken and French Toast. All of it was really good, even the coffee! ~?

Our party used the check-In system online and arrived 10 minutes after the recommended 50 minute wait online. Still waited 1hr 13 minutes but got seated immediately when we brought it up. Lots of empty tables with a long wait, so they're most likely understaffed.I ordered the sweet heat chicken and French toast bites with a Ruby Mimosa. The chicken was defiantly the best part of this dish with a spicy honey like sauce covering a non-seasoned breaded chicken. The bites themselves need work. While they had a really nice crust outside and were chewy in the middle, I had some that tasted greasy? The strawberries were warm and looked possibly cooked? I'm not sure if that was intended, but it was okay. The drink was warm and somehow arrived immediately when we asked about it some time after asked about its whereabouts. Was a 3/5 drink. Other drinks included a Bloody Mary which was pretty tame on the spice side but the size was defiantly not worth the price. Not a true New Orleans Bloody Mary but good if you want something "like" a bloody Mary. We also got the vanilla ice coffee and it was watered down and had absolutely no sweetness to it. Sometimes that can happen so just be aware. Another got a plain black coffee with a 1.00$ extra for cream. That was kinda bizarre. They were also out of straws and that happens but they could atleast wipe their cups dry so there isn't dry spots on them. One of our members got a breakfast platter and there was a whole cooked egg in the stone grits. Wasn't expecting that. The Benedicts was defiantly the highlight of this restaurant so if its your first visit I would recommend that as it came out very tasty and worth the price.Party of 4 with 4 meals and 4 special beverages was $91ish so I would label this place as a new Orleans *inspired* brunch restaurant that trys to sway towards fine dining level prices. I do think Big Bad Breakfast still reigns as the best brunch place in this side of Birmingham. I'd say go here once for the experience but keep the above in mind.Waited 20 minutes for the waiter to stop by so we went to the front to pay. Apparently that wasn't the correct thing, but the nice hostess took off the coffee and the greasy French toast meal.

Great service and delicious food!

Can’t wait to go back! The potions were perfect & tasted fantastic and the drinks were amazing! Food came out quickly as well. J was our server and she was one of the best I’ve ever had! My sister and I were both very impressed (& that isn’t an easy task) and will be going back to ask for her! Keep up the great work y’all!
