pizza was great, beer was good and great service!!

We came here a few months ago and everything was great! The pizza, beer, atmosphere, service, etc. However, when we came back in tonight; it was not the same experience. We sat at the bar, and then kept sitting. We noticed several wait staff walking back and forth but it was not “their job” to tend to us. After about 10 minutes, we finally asked one of the servers if their is a bartender. One replied with, “mm, yeah but I don’t know where she went.” Another replied with, “she went out to smoke.” They then asked if we had been helped yet and we told the two servers “No, we’ve just been sitting here watching everyone walk by us”. All of the *servers* were very nice and helpful after asking to be helped. The bartender FINALLY decided to come back and was not in any mood to actually do work. She acted as if we were bothering her by being here…. That’s wild. We ordered an appetizer, 2 waters, and a pitcher of beer. We waited 35 minutes for an appetizer. Meanwhile the bartender took smoke breaks, dinner breaks, etc. We finally asked what was going on and the bartender responded with, “oh they didn’t tell you the kitchen burnt it.. that’s why I was staring at yall.” We responded with, “No.. ‘they’ did not tell us. YOU should’ve told us.” After that, the manager came and spoke with us to mend the issues while we continued waiting for our food. She apologized several times, gave us free pizza coupons, took the appetizer off, and gave us a discount. We didn’t want a discount though. We just wanted to be acknowledged and for them to of communicated with us about the issues in the kitchen. As business owners, and customers; being left in the complete dark is never the right answer. Also, blaming your kitchen and wait staff, basically bad mouthing your entire team; is definitely not the correct way. Telling customers (not just us) that your fellow employees leave guest waiting at the host stand because they are not the host, servers leaving hot food in the window because it’s not their ticket, and the cooks not preparing food correctly or promptly because they don’t care or they’re just having a bad night…. Is not okay. That seems like a leadership issue (especially when these comments are coming from the one “in charge”) and it stems from the top. Customers are not always right. And a place of business needs to have their employees back. I would consider making proactive decisions versus reactive just to “relate” to the customer. Once our pizza came out (half chipotle chicken/half margherita) it was very, very crispy and just thrown together. The ingredients said fresh basil and it was literally dried basil seasoning in one spot (pictured below). We originally came in there expecting to pay full price for fresh ingredients, good pizza, and good beer. And have no problem spending the money for it. They have a good product and establishment, but tonight’s experience was horrible. I hope they take this constructive criticism (which we told them first) as a lesson and a way to improve.

Amazing pizza (we had four different kinds and liked them all) and a huge selection of beer on tap. They also have great wings plus sandwiches and salads. Great downtown vibe with open air dining. Definitely my new favorite pizza place.

The drinks we got were great! Our table got a couple of pizzas and they were delicious as well - 1) Sriracha Shrimp & 2) Street Corn The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxed and chill, most importantly, it was clean. Restrooms were also clean. :) This was my first time here, but I’ll definitely be back!

Whelp Katelyn and Valorie are amazing and we laughed a bunch and shoved our faces quite literally full of pints and pies!! Just moving here from Tampa.. this honestly made me feel so much at home. Thanks ladies ?

Great pizza great environment. Our bartender Kaytlin was amazing in helping us pick a pie and a pint

I am literally still sitting at my table in the restaurant while I wrote this review. That’s how strongly I felt I had to review this restaurant. It took about 25 minutes after we sat down to even be greeted by our server. Then we watched her greet another table and serve them drinks and appetizers before she brought us our drinks. She never acknowledged how long we were waiting either. The pork nachos really lacked flavor and needed salt and spice. They were basically nachos I could make in the microwave. The pan they came in slid on the table when the runner dropped the food off, and when my boyfriend tried to move it, it burned his fingers. The pizza looked like it came from the local bowling alley, ONE paper packet of Parmesan and red pepper that might as well have been taken from Pizza Hut. I ordered a sandwich and it was really greasy and was basically just meat and bread. The sandwich was really disappointing to be honest. The service was just so bad. I will drink room temperature beverages at home but at a restaurant at least give me some ice! After we asked for our check it took her several minutes to bring it to us. Overall this experience just spoiled the chances of us going back to this restaurant. I consider myself and my boyfriend to be great customer everywhere we go, we don’t get impatient and we never complain. We tip well and we don’t really ever have bad experiences at restaurants because of our attitudes. Every poor review has been accurate in saying that the food is overpriced and the pizza is chewy.

Pros: the waitstaff was very nice and personable. The pizza and wings looked very pretty and appetizing.Cons: everything was way under seasoned and overcooked. The best way to say it is style over substance. Conclusion: it was a nice place very chic but we probably won't go back due to the price and the lack of flavor

Well, very disappointing. We were staying the night around the corner from Pints and Pie. We ordered takeout at 8:45 - a pizza and chips and salsa. It was supposed to be ready at 9:50 (wow!). We walked, arriving at 9:45. The bartender told us it wasn’t ready so we sat at the bar and got a drink. 10: 00 no pizza. We asked again about our order. Bartender went back and said it would still be a few minutes. If we hadn’t prepaid an hour and half earlier, we would have left. I asked if we could have our chips and salsa while waiting. That took a couple minutes too. Finally at 10.:15 our pizza came out missing our sides. No one was around for quite awhile even after requesting the rest of our order to pay for our drinks so we left $ on the bar and left. Back in our room discovered pizza was burnt and missing ingredients. Would have been good if not burnt. Very disappointing.

The food is reasonably priced and some of the best around. The ambiance is very cool and the beer was cooler. The service could've been a little quicker paced, as we waited twice as long for our food and refills than most of the surrounding parties but overall, I'm very pleased and hope to visit again. Seriously great pizzas!!
