Always and I mean always absolutely delicious. You will not go wrong on any item. Whenever we have a holiday coming up I always go buy the mini cakes in a cup and theyvare always a big hit. They love them and I love them. Great flavors always moist and just plan good. Customer service is pretty good as well.
Tried to make an order for Mothers Day by calling the Thursday before. I couldn’t get anyone on the phone all day and left a voicemail and no one had called me back, so my mom won’t getting what she asked for this weekend.
Carol and her husband run a tight ship here, but it pays off 500 times over when you taste one of their cake bites, or in my case, a custom cake for that special someone. Hands down the best pastry item I've ever had, and the small 8" lasted my family nearly a full week (and yes, it was good everyday). Give Carol and Dennis a call. You will thank me later.
I have to treat myself every now and then. I absolutely love their baby bites. I'm never disappointed when I stop by.
Very upset that I have to change my review from a 5 to a 1 after today. My boyfriend being super sweet and knowing that I love the baby bites here decided to order me a cake for my birthday next week. He went in and the person working was extremely rude to him and refused to take the order. If you are booked up you should politely say so and that's fine but you don't have to be rude and disrespectful about it. Very sad to hear this and I will not be supporting this business anymore.
My daughter wanted to visit this bake shop, while in town. My 1st visit, and I was very impressed. Their "Baby Cakes" are absolutely DELICIOUS!! I purchased 2 of the Caramel, 2 of the Chocolate, 1 Turtle and 1 Red Velvet. I divided thee with a friend. Like myself, they thought that these little sweet treats were so good! I will DEFINITELY visit this place soon. I am also giving information to friends about their Trussville location!

What a terrible experience ! Picked up an order by the name of the person that ordered it and was given the wrong order. Returned and was told by THE MAN, I checked the order before I left. I explained that was IMPOSSIBLE since I didn't know what the order was, I was picking it up for someone else and gave the person's name and was told" Yes this is their order ." Did not expect them to accept returned food, or even offer a refund, only to accept responsibility. I asked if HE thought this was a proper way to do business-he said YES! and went back to his hidden hole in the back. Caveat Emptor as Owner/Employees have no responsibility or conscience!
When you swing by to get a doz. baby-bites and your bestie is celebrating her 11yrs of life post BrCa diagnosis and you inquire “do u have any pink candles?” and PastryArts staff say “why, yes we do!” I’m always soooo pleased when I visit this fine establishment ♥️?
