I so enjoyed this spot. I drove up from Montgomery after I found them on Google. I the the person incharge was my waitress...Kayla...I think that's how it was spelled. She was AWESOME! I will go back. It did help with the $5 mimosas...LOL!!!
This place has such a unique vibe ~ family friendly, super clean, brightly lit, cute decor... but the bartenders pour a quick shot and have a ton of personality. Joanie is particularly delightful! I can't think of another place in Birmingham where I'd be equally quick to send a family of four with a toddler AND a server who needed a quick drink between a double shift. Honestly amazing. ❤️?❤️?❤️?
My best friend, my two kids, and myself visited Mudtown today. I can say without any hesitation that our service, server, and the rest of the staff was by far the best I have ever experienced in a restaurant before. On top of the amazing service the food and cocktails were exceptional. I got the house chips and the Big Green Pimp burger and it was hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. I’m from Anniston and will definitely be back soon! Thank you guys for helping to make my Mother’s Day wonderful!
Awesome food and drinks. There for brunch and if comfort food is what you are looking for then this is the place. Great staff with smiling faces. Being from out of town, I could tell the locals love it too. Oh yeah, the bloody Mary and mimosas were great.

Great little place to have a casual brunch, lunch or dinner. The food is great, from the salads, to burgers, and more. Good beer selection, friendly staff. I took my wife and three kids, everyone loved the diverse selection of food.
First time I have been to Mudtown Eat and Drink. Loved the atmosphere and service. The food was very good and they serve plenty. Enough to take home for a second meal and they give you a drink to take with it. I was also pleased with the pricing. Don’t hesitate to eat here. You will not be disappointed. I will be returning on my next run to Birmingham. Thank you Mudtown Eat and Drink.
Just take my advice and get the Slabtown Soul plate. Garlic grits topped with greens, coneca sausage, and hot chicken. Ridiculously good. The atmosphere is comfortable. The beer selection is good. And the service by Josh was great
I had a very good meal with my husband and the server/bartender was great!
Delicious food and great service! My usually vegetarian daughter LOVED the catfish!
