Very average featureless BBQ on a Styrofoam platter if you dine in. The place seems popular with the weekend college crowd, and a below average, live cover, two-piece band were entertaining clientele on a Saturday evening. Beer list features a few unremarkable national blands, or beers that no one wants but will drink because they want a beer. This is all disappointing because we're in the part of the country where "southern bbq" was invented, and there are great local beers they should be serving. Anyone heard of Ghost Train?
Came here to meet the NELK boys at the Happy Dad release. I thought it was very well run and the staff were professional. Food and drink were fantastic. Great work!

This place is very friendly and characteristic. The beer is worthwhile and the pulled pork was very good. Shame I didn’t have the time to go back and try the chicken wings.. one more reason for another trip to this place in the future.
Ok, so let me share. Last visit was mediocre. Today, lights out! Top two Wing meals I've had , marinated slaw was great, wife's pork plate with macaroni and I, collards and fantastic cornbread was rocking. Service was solid and friendly. Get wings, dont say how, slaw and a cold local brew. It will satisfy!!
Probably wont go there again for a while. Terrible customer service. Bar folks were hand holding while taking my order. Got there around 2:45 and didn't get my food till 3:25~ and it wasnt busy. I was asked three separate times if i had gotten my order just to find out it had been sitting on the counter for the past 30 mins. The staff didn't notice because they were too busy cuddling and taking lemon drops with each other and the other patrons. Do better.
The place could stand a good cleaning. Every thing I touched was sticky. The slaw and potato salad were overloaded with onions.

Fried food came out hot, fresh and pretty good. Other food came out warm to cold (pulled pork, ribs, etc.) Ribs did not fall off the bone and overall the bbq items could use more sauce. The french fries were amazing.
