Mayawell is so great and has become my favorite bar in bham! It has the best vibes, service, and drinks. Deangelo is there a few days a week and is the best bartender, I love when he’s there!

What a wonderful tequila bar. Great location. Not far from Automatic Seafood, Hot and Hot Fish and Pepper Place.
They wouldn’t swap my overly sweeten spicy jalapeño drink because I sipped it to try and didn’t finish it at all. Don’t order won’t be coming back. Customer service was 2/10 due to that.
Great agave based drinks (tequila y mescal) beer and more at this unique Mayan inspired cozy bar! Well staffed & good service. Buzzy environment w/ a cute little rooftop with a little view of the downtown Birmingham skyline. They also have close by restaurants in Lakeview and a food truck out front!
Mayawell was an amazing experience! The decor is cool, the bartenders are friendly and efficient and the cocktails are absolutely amazing! My first drink was good, then I ordered a We'll Never Be Royal. It's gorgeous - deep purple garnished with a purple daisy - and it's smokey, slightly spicy and all around sweet. Seriously one of my top three favorite cocktails of all time. Cannot wait to return!
