Before the concert we headed here. It did not seem to have its typical menu. I totally get that. It just seemed like everyone did not want to be there? New people working. Friends of friends there which is cool, but it seemed like weird that they were not paying attention to them either? Just a weird vibe today. Tacos were okay. Not mind blowing at all. Margaritas were too tall.
The Cuban sandwich wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Kind of dry and could've used a bit of seasoning. The service was good.
Clean establishment. Good customer service. The street corn appetizers is authentic. The red corn chip were unique too.
Tried Luna for the first time when we went to see a show at Saturn and dinner ended up being the unexpected star of the evening! We had the pork tostones, asado tacos, and regular tacos...WOW! Everything we ate was incredibly delicious, we will absolutely be returning to what is now one of my favorite Latin restaurants in the city!
We tried Luna latin for the first time this weekend. My husband and I love going to Miami and eating cuban food. This place was the most authentic cuban food we have found in Birmingham. For an appetizer, we got the luna caviar. Then, for our meals, I got the Shredded pork, black beans, and rice and my husband got the cuban sandwich. Everything was great! Also, we loved the passion fruit mojitos. 10/10 will be back!
One of my favorite spots in Birmingham. I’ve only been twice but both times the food and drinks were excellent. The cocktails are strong and the food was fresh. The portions are good and the prices are fair. It’s inside of an old firehouse so the atmosphere is really neat too. Looking forward to going back!

Nice cozy spot in the heart of Avondale entrainment district. The atmosphere is laid back and pleasant. The staff is very attentive and personable. The courses are light, fresh, and flavorful experiences for your tastebuds. Luna Latin Cuisine is perfect for a date night or a chill evening with a friend or few.
We came in late but our server was absolutely wonderful. Highly attentive and didn’t mind describing all the foods for us. Her recommendations were great! The Cuban and the side was amazing! Wish knew her name so I could give her an A+
Fantastic food! It's so awesome to finally have some authentic Latin food in Birmingham. Very cool environment. Definitely worth a try if you haven't already.
