Drive through order- had to be repeated 3 times. Spent $10 per meal (after tax). Waited ten minutes for food. Worker asked me to move again (had already moved forward to clear the window so the car behind me could get food). I asked for a refund instead since I had been waiting 10 minutes for my food with no hope of it coming out any time soon now. Employee then asked me to leave my car to walk to the window for my refund. Employee then asked for the change she had given me back. Then in my refund did not give me the correct amount and kept $20. When I pointed out this fact all she would say with her attitude is “ Well why do you want a refund anyway?!?” This is the rudest customer services I have absolutely ever received, and I will not be coming back.
One person took the money, served the drinks, then the food and took orders, came outside to deliver some of the food all in a timely manner. She was awesome!!
Better than they've been in a long time- everything was fresh and exactly how I ordered it.
This was a Door Dash delivery. The lobby was closed, but the cashier in the drive thru was nice. They didn't take long to prepare the order. I didn't give 5 stars because I haven't eaten there yet, but I plan to soon.
Food was old and had bad taste, service as always with this location was bad. they act like you are a problem when you pull up to the drive thru. This place should be closed down.
Drive thru girl was really sarcastic. Ordered a number one I think it was and said no pickles. Got up front and paid and got the receipt and asked it doesn't say no cheese and she went all attitude. Well if it had cheese it would say cheese Krystal's. So I asked well why does the picture under the number 1 have cheese on them? She walked off. I probably won't be back. Workers in other places aren't happy either but they're not sarcastic and rude.
My husband and I are in Alabama visiting my family, we are from Colorado and he has never had Krystals. I have always loved those little mini burgers and was excited to take him to experience them. We pull up and park because we were going to dine in. Well they have a hand written sign on the door stating that the dining room is closed. We see a whole bunch of employees hanging out in the lobby with their children. So we go through the drive through. The woman on the intercom was speaking so fast I could barley make out what she was saying. We get our order and it was absolutely disgusting. Every bottom bun was so soggy, it was like a disgusting paste. Needless to say my husband was not impressed.
The food was cold the service was terrible had me waiting outside for 30 minutes they forgot I was out there all i had was 4 Krystal burgers so I went and got my money back
"What do you want?" That is the very first thing the person working the drive thru said to me. It went downhill from there. It took her a couple of attempts to repeat my order back correctly.Got to the window and when she told me total I nearly had heart failure. I gave her my credit card and when I got the receipt there was an additional charge. I asked her what it was and it was for using my credit card. I was charged an additional $1.41 for not paying with cash. There was no signage regarding credit card payments. The cashier did not let.me know about the charge when I gave her my card.The food was NOT up to Krystal quality and I should know because I worked for Krystal's 34 years ago. The chik was pure rubber. The krystal burgers were bland and gummy and the chili was too spicy. The French fries were beyond nasty. I don't know when they changed the type of fries, but they need to go back to the old ones.I am so disappointed. Even with the nasty, rude server if the food had been better I wouldn't have been as mad as I am right now. Krystal's used to be one of my favorite places to eat when I was anywhere near one. Not anymore. I'm done. $36 down the tubes. A pure waste of money.My advice to anyone thinking about eating at the Krystal's in Trussville: DON'T.
Team members were kind & friendly with their customer service in the drive thru, but the menu board was not up to date & our classic Krystal burgers barely had any toppings [mustard, onions, & pickles]....it was basically bread & the tiny meat patty.
