I’m utterly disappointed in this food! My chicken is cold, okra burnt, fish has an odd taste and it looks like someone has already taken a bite out of it and the bun is hard as a rock!!
I have been going to Ken's BBQ since I started work nearby in 1990. That's 32 years off and on. I can say because I know, the food has gotten worse every year since it was sold a few years back. I was willing to give it one more try today, even though the last few times I went it was sub-par from what I'm used to. Sadly, this was the WORST it has ever been. The Mac and Cheese was runny and Kraft does better. I ordered inside cut and the meat had an off odor and taste. Even the slaw was off. The only good thing I can say was that the portions were tiny so I didn't have to suffer long. 80% of the food went into the trash. Get it together Mike. You can do better than that.

Catfish was great. And the barbecue is all wayes good.
Never had a bad experience at this location. Waitresses are go getters. Miss Ann always greets me with a smile. Excellent food in a very reasonable time. My favorite place for breakfast in all of Birmingham. Prices are reasonable and if you leave hungry it's your own fault.
Great deal but I really loved the slaw
This is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. The food is great, the service is timely. The only downside is parking can be alittle difficult when it's crowded.

I've ate here for years. I like the breakfast most, but lately I must say that the service and the quality of food has declined.All in all it's not a bad experience, just not as good as it once was
