Juniper is such a special place with a wonderful atmosphere. The people who work here are always so nice and welcoming. It is definitely my favorite happy hour spot in Birmingham. The drinks are really well thought out and unique. The food here is also incredible. They recently added a vegetable plate that was the best I've ever had. Very distinct flavors and textures across the dish. This isn't something you don't normally see in Birmingham or anywhere for that matter. The chef is very creative and intentional. Everything on the menu is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
Waitress was very knowledgable and friendly. Only went for drinks, which were fantastic! Loved Buzz Word! Will definitely go back and looking forward to trying out more of the menu!

Amazing, imaginative gin cocktails set against selfie heaven in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of downtown. Perfection for a girls night out or a date night! You will fall in love in this or with this swoon worthy bar with a great kitchen.
Wanted to go here before my heart surgery. Finally got here!! A number of my friends have eaten here 2 and 3 times!! Chef T is a friend and is an amazing Chef!! The food was great! My Yoga Instructor/Spiritual Guide/Community Mama treated me! I ordered the Vegan Crab Cakes and she ordered the Crab Cake. The patio was very nice! Out of curiosity, we placed and order for Duck Fat Fries. Everything was wonderful!!
Nice eclectic atmosphere with a chill vibe. We had the crab cake and duck fat fries, both of which were very good and well seasoned. We did not leave hungry. The cocktails were a bit small for the $$, but we're really tasty and creative. We'll definitely return.

Juniper is amazing! Everything from the drinks to the food to the atmosphere is top notch. You won’t find a more unique cocktail bar! The buzz word cocktail is a must try for you adventurous folks!
cute spot for date night or hanging out with friends. the mixed drinks are tasty (try the buzz word and eat the flower, you're welcome). their food is great - i've tried the fries, wings, and strawberry bread pudding and all of these have been great. they don't allow you to split checks which is weird considering it's 2022 and they use the same point of service tech that every other restaurant uses. also it's a little overpriced, IMO. make sure you check your receipt. that's why i'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.
The space is a vibe. Cool design on the inside with a dope patio in the back. I haven’t been to a spot in a while that has a great combo of food and drinks. The Buzz Word is a must try. It’s unlike any drink you’ve ever had before. The food was great. From the vegetable plate to the crab cakes. I’ll be coming back.
