I really appreciated JaWanda taking the time to explain the " love " she puts in her sweet treats. We tried several different flavors of pies and cakes. They were as good as advertised!
"Awesome" Sweet Potato Pies. My wife and I tried Jawanda's for the first time this past weekend and we were thoroughly impressed. The Customer service is second to none. The "original" flavor sweet Potato is my personal favorite. The crust is the "absolute" best crust I've ever tasted. Treat yourself to JaWanda's the nest time you have a sweet tooth. Oh by the way my wife's favorite is the Chocolate Pound cake. Lastly the prices are reasonable.

Mrs. JaWanda, I was blessed to be in your store this morning prior to the store actually opening. First, thank you and your staff for being compassionate towards those of us that arrived before the store actually opened for allowing us to come in out of the cold to wait. Second, thank you even more for including us in your pre-opening prayer. THAT PRAYER spoke to my heart and I do believe it was divine intervention for things to happen that way. I love your pies without question and it’s never hit or miss… it’s the consistency for me. Thank you and your staff for your exceptional customer service and your obvious love of God and his people. Amazingly delicious baked goods. The crusty crème cheese pound cake tasted just like you’d hope, but better. The sweet potato pie is the best I’ve ever had. The cobblers are so fantastic. Really is a taste of heaven at Jawanda’s.
I am new to the area and saw this place today. They had slices of pound cake and mini pies. They might have had other items too but I only noticed these, they captured my attention right away. I purchased a mini sweet potato pie, key lime, and a pecan. I also purchased a slice of lemon pound cake. My 12 year old announced she didn’t like pound cake or pie… A couple of hours later I tried the sweet potato pie. The 12 year old asked for a taste and begged to have the rest. Tonight we equally ate the lemon pound cake. Both superb. We haven’t tried the other 2 minis yet, but have no doubt they will be equally delicious. This place had the most delicious sweet potato pie and even better than my own (really good) lemon pound cake. Prices are reasonable and they have fantastic employees.

My sister and I stopped by on Friday August 20, 2021 and JaWanda did not disappoint!! Everything we tried was DELICIOUS. We bought about 7 desserts ….from cobbler to pies to pound cake and all were wonderful. We also got a taste sampler of her Thanksgiving foods and they were also WONDERFUL….cornbread dressing, sweet potato pound cake, sweet potato casserole and pie. We will be back!! Oh and the counter staff was so helpful and sweet! Thanks for everything!
The sweet potato pies are very good as well as the chocolate pound cake. The day we went, they were giving away free ice cream. Super friendly owners and staff. We will be back!
