Underrated pizza place with nice ambiance and amazing food.

This review started with 5 stars because of the attentive all around good wait staff, the solid beer selection, and the interesting pizza options. In the end, I decided that the review of a pizza place should weigh the pie pretty high. The in-house pickled jalapenos were sweet, tangy, hot, delicious and were provided as a free sampleWe ordered 2 medium pies. The Arrington Arugula, a white sauce pizza with fresh arugula was good but not exciting and the flavor was dominated by whole cloves of roasted garlic (that I liked). The crust was bland, needed salt, a bit too chewy, and could have offered a crunch to make the pie more memorable. The Cahaba Caprese was a surprise since it was not the vegetarian pie that I had expected with tomato, mozzarella, and basil but included a solid amount of prosciutto. The fault was clearly on my side since I saw Caprese, jumped to a conclusion and did not read the description. I showed my disappointment and the waiter, without hesitation, offered to make a different, vegetarian pie as a replacement. A very customer focused move that I appreciated. Since I was with a carnivore, we kept the caprese/ham pie.I gladly paid $9 for 16 fl oz of Snake Handler and we left happy.

Great little pizza bar on the corner in Five Points. Excellent customer service, several beers on tap, and great pizza. I ordered a pepperoni, onions and bell pepper pizza. Definitely recommend.

Today was my first time here and I got the 5 meat pizza and it was incredible! The sauce has a great taste, the crust was perfect and the meats were delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

We stopped here for the 1st time a little over a month ago on our way back to Bham from shopping. We wanted something really good and like searching out new places and decided to give it a try. What a great find this place was! So glad we stopped!! I consider myself a foody and look for quality, flavorful and fresh ingredients. This place met all the qualifications. We started with a charcuterie board and it was amazing with great selections of cheeses and meets. Then we split a traditional pizza with pepperoni, bell pepper and olives. It was perfect in every way a pizza should be. The crust is exactly what I like in a pizza crust. Thin but not too thin with a little crisp in the bite & great flavor. No cheap toppings here! Simply delicious and no greasy bottom! This is our new fave pizza spot for sure. We’ve been a few times now and tried the Cahaba Caprese pizza and it was sooooo good! Oh, and my hubby says the wings are very good as well.

The pizza was excellent, but absolutely loved the Greek salad with its tangy dressing and actually chopped ingredients (EVERYONE please start chopping pepperoncini peppers now please). Great friendly fast service too

The service is amazing, employees are always very friendly & the service is fast (but not too fast for a good pizza). We haven't explored the menu too much yet but, it's our favorite pizza in birmingham. Cannolis aren't too bad either! Only complaint is that parking can be a bit sparse, but thats 5-points.

In town and used Door Dash to order pizza, salads, and garlic cheese bread to Hotel. Unfortunately Door Dash did not deliver in a timely manner (30+ min over the estimated original delivery time of 45-60 min) so by the time we got our pizza and cheese bread it was cold. But we re-heated in microwave and the flavor was on point. It is not the restaurants fault Door Dash failed and would definitely like to dine-in at Iron City Pizza and try it fresh and hot. The prices are very affordable and good value for the money.

We got wings and pizza for the kids. Due to a late lunch wife and I didn't eat but snatched a piece of the pizza out of boredom. We should have eaten, it was really good, think mellow mushroom but better. They are proud of their toppings, but the pies are reasonably priced, and the personal "7 inch" pizza was more like a small pizza from anywhere else, the slices were small but not tiny and there were maybe 10-12 in all. I couldn't drag a wing away from my daughter, I tried, she wasn't having it. Service was prompt and courteous. I will be back and encourage anyone and everyone who enjoys a laid back pizza joint to visit!

Loved the Caesar salad! Also the cheese bread and marinara appetizer. The pizza was excellent!! Loved the sauce. The crust was not too thick, I prefer a thinner crust and this was a good thickness. Will definitely be stopping in again.
