Great atmosphere, food, and service. Food was standard Mexican fare done exceptionally well. They were able to accommodate 8 people really well. Service was fast, food came out quick. Wonderful experience
Good solid Mexican fare with tasty margaritas. Want to go off the normal path? Try the omelette, you will not be disappointed. I’ve gotten several variations of it and always been happy with the choice. If you’re into hot they have a house made habanero hot sauce that is great when used sparingly!
It took a while for my party to even get drink orders taken. It was not a staffing issue. Just no one came. The food was okay. All around, everything was average. Excellent decor, though. My niece loved all of the pretty lights.
Iguana Grill is one of the best dining experiences in the Birmingham area. The service is great and friendly. The food is definitely a step above standard Mexican fare, which can be quite good already. The portions are big and there is something for everyone. Even my picky eater children enjoy this place. And the ambiance is second to none. Its unique ornateness gives the feeling that you've been transported elsewhere. It's a great escape from the world around.

This food is bom.com I will recommend this food was awesome and the service was also great the food was delicious and the drinks was cold and the food was fresh and it’s was in total a great experience I will come back again and enjoy it once again 10/10 would recommend
We stopped at the Iguana Grill for some drinks and to hang out for a little bit. They gave us chips and sauce for free and the bar area was nice to meet and chat. We would definitely go back here.The one thing as with many Mexican restaurants is that the staff could be quite a bit more friendly.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Birmingham. Their fajitas and pollo loco are top notch. Salsa and cheese dip is amazing! Dessert is the best around.
I have been here on several occasions. I had an hour to kill for lunch and it is close by my job. The food and service are always excellent.
