My husband and I stopped by to check this place out. The chicken wings were good and fresh. However, the tenders & sides were not freshly made. Could have been better.

The hubby and I were in town celebrating his birthday and we stopped in at the place before going to a bar. I had the chicken tenders and waffles. The tenders were fried perfectly and the mild was really spicy to me. I did not like the waffles had they were really hard and had weird taste. The hubby had the pimento cheese Mac and cheese and he loved it but the potato salad wasn’t that great. Overall nice place with great chicken.
Really good food and sauces. Recommend the dark meat and tenders. The come slaw and crinkle fries are good sides. The wait was very long, long enough to get frustrated.
This places reputation is enough. It completely blows that reputation away in reality. Extremely moist chicken with varying levels of heat. The grits were also amazing. Grab a basket and sit outside and enjoy!
Absolutely delicious the best ?? tht we've tried. I had the medium with ? n my frnd had the damn ? . Frendly atmosphere loved the outside patio. Will return
This was my 3rd visit (and my 1st visit to this location). The line was a bit long but it wasn’t too bad. Both of our dishes were super greasy and the seasonings weren’t really too special. Their sweet tea was perfect though!
We were just passing by and wanted to eat outside somewhere! I am glad we chose this spot. The food was great! Hot fresh and the cashier was so nice and helpful. The view was also a plus. The chicken tenders are the BEST!!!
Chicken wings are juicy and seasoned well. The pimento Mac and cheese is good actually better than expected. The greens have too many stems for my liking. Over all good food and price.
Coming from Louisiana, this fried chicken was just alright.I ordered togo for the HOT flavored SM Dark leg/thigh quarter with a side of fries and southern greens (felt like being a tad bit healthier by adding some green to my meal). Also ordered a root bear float.The chicken was juicy but had no flavor by itself. You have to rely on having a good amount of skin to help the meat. The HOT level wasn’t that spicy to me but I do have a higher tolerance for heat. The chicken skin was crispy, I’ll give it that. It does have a tangy flavor to it which was a little weird to me but others may enjoy it.The southern greens are NO GO! Do not get this, go for any other sides! Even if you feel you have to be healthy and need some greens, don’t do it!Customer service was great and the staff was always helpful.
First time trying this place after always seeing it across from Jack Browns. Decided to give it a try and I’m disappointed. Actually I think I overate. The prices might seem a bit high but trust me, it’s enough for 2 settings. If you eat it all at one time, you probably won’t eat again that day. I had medium chicken and it was still a little tangy. The peach cobbler was great and warm !!!
