The food is good,but they are stingy with the slaw and drink. Slaw is served in a small dipping cup, drinks are too packed with ice, so you get very little to drink.
I have always used liked this location but will never go there again! I had an issue with my meal a week ago and called the store to let them know. The shift manager stated to come back by at my convenience and the meal would be replaced. Went by on yesterday and stated to the young lady the particulars. She decided that all I would get would be fries. I stated to her with whom I had spoken to and she responded "she didn't care who I had spoken too all I would be getting is fries".Young lady had a very nasty attitude and I will never frequent that location again!
The chicken tenders where very good the wait wasn’t even 4 mins long and the food were fresh the staff was very friendly and polite I just had Guthrie’s yesterday for the first time and trust me I will be back
So far this is the BEST chicken finger place in the bham area! Great & Fresh food every time I come by. Awesome employees as always, making sure every customer is treated with respect! I haven’t had it in a while but I’m coming back soon for the great meal! :)
Chicken was ok. Some bits were cornmeally, some were perfect. Wait was long and came as 2 flats and no dine in at this location which was a huge disappointment.
Came by today and was waiting for my food and I see 2 blonde haired girls passing back and forth a bottle of liquor. What kind of business is this? Guthrie’s management please get your employees together.
Ordered one box and one sandwich. Said they couldn't make the sandwich, which is LITERALLY the SAME chicken fingers from box thrown ontop of a bun! So, ordered 2boxes instead (over a $5 diff from box vs bun) .Tried[ to pay with EXACT cash at window but[ wasi>>( informediì**<*,,mtbeforehat they couldn't accept anything but a card! Not even EXACT cash! I underst])))l)]]))lpand it was a little [email protected] 30 minutes they closed but that's just ridiculously LAZY, if you ask me! They could've mentioned this all to begin with, at the order speaker and saved us both time and me a headache!!! So, I turned right around and drove to the Zaxbys, that I originally passed by to specifically go to Guthrie's. And, GUESS WHAT?!?! Zaxbys GLADLY made my sandwich and HAPPILY accepted the CASH I paid with! AND GAVE ME CHANGE! Gonna save myself the UTurn and just go to Zaxbys from now on!!!
I have been coming to this Guthries for years but I have a lot of concerns about food safety. The two employees in front touched their phones, key rings, and even fixed each other’s hair without washing hands. One of the employees spent about thirty seconds tucking the others hair into a headband, barehanded, then handled napkins and other supplies without washing her hands. The girl who had her hair adjusted washed her hands, but the one who actually handled hair barehanded did not wash hers. The cook in back had waist-length hair extensions that were loose and swinging around at every movement. Neither of the employees in front ever wore gloves at any time. I could not see if the cook had gloves on or not.I am debating whether or not my son and I will eat the food that we just paid for. Leaning no. Guthries, please get your act together. This is really unacceptable in the food business. No one wants to eat food handled by people who touch hair and phones and keys and then don’t wash their hands or wear gloves. It makes people queasy.Update: I threw the food out. I couldn’t justify feeding it to myself or my son. It’s not worth getting sick over $20 worth of chicken fingers.
Decent Guthrie's. Not the best one I've had, but still great. Kind of hit or miss on the quality and taste. The first time I ordered here, I was pretty disappointed, but every other time they've done alright.
Fried chicken, fries & toast. What more can you ask for? Be prepared to sit in the drive thru for a few minutes, but the food is worth the wait.
