I was craving a "purple onion greek salad" and the only thing close was this restaurant. So when I ordered the village salad and looked at I was kinda disappointed like where's the "salad" BUT OMG this has been the best thing I have ever tasted!! ? All my disappointment disappeared and I was just AMAZED. Plus side was their employees are the sweetest people!! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

This restaurant is so wonderful. I’ve eaten Grk street three times now - I’ve gone in to pick up take out, I’ve dined in, and I’ve used the drive thru window. Each time, my food has been fresh and ready in such a short amount of time! One time I came in to pick up and the man working the register said my order wasn’t quite ready yet, but immediately turned around to the kitchen staff to let them know I was there. Sure enough my order was out in less than 2 minutes. The staff is so unbelievably friendly every single time without exception! The food is great too. I’ve eaten gyros, the falafel, the street corn, the fries, and the cheesecake. All delicious! I’m moving to memphis soon and so sorry to leave this place behind. Please eat at this restaurant so it will be around for years to come!!
Tried Greek Street for the first time today after seeing their signage all over 280 and Valleydale for their drive thru, and I'm SO GLAD I did. I pulled up to an empty drive thru and realized I might should've ordered ahead. The sweet gentleman at the window (can't remember his name, but mentioned his best friend's name was also Abbey) told me he'd happily take my order. I asked his favorite on the menu, he said it was the Lamb Burger, so I ordered it and a side of cucumber salad. The lamb burger was TO DIE FOR. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and toppings were tasty. The cucumber salad is veryyyyy basil-y and I loved that! All in all, service, food, and speed of delivery were spot on. I doubt I even waited 5min for the meal to come to my car in the drivethru. Will be back to try more!
My favorite Greek restaurant in Birmingham. We are there for lunch yesterday and I told my husband I will we had one closer to where we live. It was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the hummus and the Greek bowl!
This is Tzatziki's. If you like that chain, you will love this one, as well. Owned by the same guy, according to their website. Seating available for about 4 folks inside. Cashier was pleasant and helpful. What tex-mex is to Mexican food, Greek street is to Greek food.
The meat is so tender I feel like I'm on cloud nine right now. If close my eyes I can hear the waves crashing on Elafonissi beach...... It's amazing in the most literal way.... And to make this wet dream even better the customer service is the best I've experienced in the 27 years I've been living on this planet. Thank you GRK street!
We had both the beef/lamb gyro and the chicken gyro. Both were very tasty. The beef/lamb included fries in the gyro. Although their fries are tasty, I will exclude them from inside the gyro on future orders as I felt they distracted from the other flavors. As a side, I would highly recommend them. We also had the whipped feta which was very good. My only warning is to be prepared for take-out. We went with intentions to sit down, but there was only seating for a total of 7 people when we were there (2x 3 tops, 1 stool on a wall counter). My recommendation would be to just hit their drive thru.
Amazing. I’ve been eating here ever since they opened, and I’ve tried everything on the menu! You can’t go wrong with any of it. The pork sandwich and spicy peta dip are to die for. Workers are always nice. 100% worth a try
Outstanding casual Greek food. We have been to Greece more than once, and this is pretty much the real deal for fast casual. The Greek salad made us feel like we were back in Athens. Huge chunks of feta with fresh chopped tomato… Our portion sizes were very generous. We are so excited to have this restaurant in the area!
