the eggs in my omelet were so overcooked and so burned, they were crisp and dry. My daughter's eggs were overcooked and had 3 little slivers of turkey and two sprigs of spinach. Asked for another 1/2 of a waffle for granddaughter, got a whole other meal-kids meal ended up being $15. I can burn eggs and make a whole waffle at home a lot cheaper than the $49 it cost me here. Coffee was old and lukewarm.

I brought my sister here for birthday breakfast. This was our first time here. The food was delightful, but the customer service was a HUGE disappointment. Our server, Brittany, failed to make sure we were taken care of. I get servers deal with a lot rude/crazy customers sometimes, but my table was the opposite. We were very low maintenance individuals. We simply just wanted the “basics” like refills on our drinks and everything else we wanted was specified in our order.Brittany wasn’t friendly. It seemed like she was in a rush to get us out of there the moment we were seated and she hardly tended to our table. I purposely sat my empty cup near the edge of the table to see if she would notice, but she kept walking by and I tried to get her attention, but I’m assuming she wasn’t paying attention. We had to ask another server for refills after waiting so long and the only time she came by was to give us our checks. She Didn’t ask if we needed boxes or anything else, nor explain that we were supposed to pay up front. Once we figured that out, we had to wait for her to circle back around to ask for a to go box. I asked the woman at checkout if there was a manager or contact information for me to speak to someone about my service and I was told no. So that’s why I’m here leaving this review today.

First Watch is a hidden gem tucked away in a Hoover strip mall, only open for breakfast and lunch. The menu has some unique offerings and they serve cocktails! I opted for the kale energy drink and it was amazing. Highly recommend this place with friendly staff, good service and comfortable seating.

Great breakfast place. Awesome food and great atmosphere. Many menu items with different flavors. Definitely recommend ?

The staff was nice. The food temperature was great. If you have a mimosas you may need to stay awhile because they are not for play play. The shrimp & grits were good enough to write home about & I even went to the location in Atlanta when I got back home. This is a must visit! Don’t leave Hoover without stopping! I sign up for the waiting list. They will not disappoint.

Delicious breakfast foods and friendly staff. We usually go early on the weekends to avoid a wait. Fast, friendly service once you're seated.

I went here for a nice pre-valentines brunch with my partner, and the after church crowd deemed it appropriate to hip check our chairs, make rude comments towards us and to harass us. We won't be coming back. Food was delicious though, but I won't be coming back. Absolutely not a safe place for LGBT people to eat.

I’m going to create a list called the best around the bam area… this one will be the first place I list. I came here when I first visited a few years ago and I’m still in love with it. The drinks, the food, the people…. Makes me feel at home. Can’t say enough good about each and every visit!

Great service- some of the best we've had in the covid era. Food is consistently delicious. Recommend online check-in during peak hours.

This place was fantastic! Great coffee and juice! The cinnamon chip pancake was very fluffy, yet crunchy edges....I love that! Then the best ever Chickichanga! Wow! So good! We will be coming back for sure to try more.
