Food is always good, and it did not disappoint this time. Been eating here 40 years.
We ate at Deermans BBQ last Tuesday, the nachos were delicious. First time we had tried them, definitely won’t be the last.

The food was better at the old location but it’s still good. We eat here a couple times a year and the food is steady good. FYI, the greens are really sweet and the mac & cheese isn’t the same kind they used to make. The BBQ is still delicious but make sure you ask for extra sauce, because they don’t put much on the sandwiches.
A few times a year, we get a craving for this place. I feel like it tasted better at the original location but it’s still really good. The Mac & cheese and turnip greens are AMAZING! Make sure you ask for extra sauce if you get the bbq.
Was so glad to here Deerman's had re- opened. Burger I had was good but when was it decided that the greens needed sugar and so does the cornbread? Yuck! Butter beans are still good but you'll need your own cornbread. Have the majority of southerners decided sugar is the way to go? Please say it isn't so. ☹️
Sweet corn muffin sold as cornbread?!? And greens so sweet I couldn't make it past the first bite. Very disappointed. Used to be a great place to eat.
Great food and service. Great desserts especially their cakes.
