This place deserves a far higher rating!! Our experience was so different from the many critical reviews, it is hard to believe we're talking about the same place. Four of us golf buddies had a late lunch/dinner there on a Friday afternoon and were warming welcomed. The place wasn't very busy and Taylor was the sole server and bartender. She immediately told us to make ourselves at home and we did. She was very helpful with the menu and made sure our needs were met. She was very helpful in providing additional plates that we used to share our feast amongst ourselves. The place is clearly an older legacy restaurant in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. Very casual and a great place for families, groups of friends and anyone who enjoys a laid-back kind of old neighborhood Italian joint. The food was way beyond what I expected, having read the reviews before. The salads were fresh, with quality ingredients. We had several pasta dishes and a Stromboli. The pasta (angel hair, fettuccini and ravioli) were cooked to perfection, al dente. Had the DaVinci special pastas with pesto sauce. All excellent. The house bread was a special treat with a crispy crust reminiscent of a great croissant and an interior of delicately chewy bread. Really kind of unique. Portions are large and choices for any taste or mood.

Normally I would not leave a review, but today when I went in I overheard the waiter saying that he didn't "know how, but they always manage to get spit in there" after taking about 15 minutes to take my order. Then it was about 30 minutes waiting for food. Listening to a comment about spit building up somewhere at 1:47PM on a Monday at a restaurant you are about to eat in usually is not a fun time. Overall, my food was overcooked and overpriced. Not too fond of the ambiance as well.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is so delicious and the staff are so kind and friendly. We are so glad we found this wonderful restaurant! You won't leave here disappointed or hungry! Thank you so much John for all the lovely recommendations and thank you to our server Rachel! ???100000/10!!

What a GREAT family owned place! Crust and sauce made in-house. Pizza is excellent! Owner is waiting tables and great family atmosphere. So disappointed that I didn’t find this place sooner!!!

Wonderful experience!. Mariella was an excellent server. I really enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. Added a sprinkle of salt and parmesian for extra flavor. Loved how generous they were with the cheese. Would have liked a little more stuffing but over all the mushrooms were great. The owner John was very hands on. He checked in multiple times to make sure customers were happy. He kept as busy as his staff, waiting on customers and answering the phone.

This is a small hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant with a fantastic menu, a great selection of on-tap brews, and friendly staff. The quantities are more than adequate; the food was delicious, and reasonably priced. A gem.

Service was as expected due to there being one waitress for entire restaurant. Food was okay. We had a calzone and chicken parm pasta. Bathroom was dirty. We liked the environment of the restaurant until we went to leave. There was a large cockroach next to our table. Needless to say, we left our leftovers there. Will not be back.

Interesting place. Locally-owned. Food is made to order, piping hot, loaded with cheese. Cozy space in a small, burgeoning suburban neighborhood. Service is so-so, but they mean well. Straight to business.

The food was actually pretty decent. However, the service made the food taste bad. We said something to the manager b/c we waited for an hour before we got our food, and they didn’t bring us anything we asked for. He didn’t seem to care at all. He made an excuse for being busy, when they weren’t. Would never spend $ there again. I’d steer clear and check out your local Olive Garden instead.

Our food was fantastic. One of us had a Mufeletta and one of had spaghetti. Yum! She waitress was so nice. The atmosphere is so relaxed. Nice soft music playing in the background. I definitely recommend a dinner date here.
