They were very disorganized seating tables. There were 3 people doing the seating charts and they could not agree and it just looked so unprofessional and unorganized. Other employees had good ideas but the main lady working it would not take their advice. Our waiter was strange. Seemed to be on some type of drug and was just acting weird.
Area where we were finally seated was dirty. Napkins and food all over floor. All the tables dirty. Hostess walked us to table, it was still being cleaned, turns around and says âthis is where youâll sit when heâs doneâ. Then walks off. Sat down, picked up menu to find cake icing stuck all over table and menu⦠now all over my son and I. Had to ask for napkins. Was told they were out of paper ones and was given about 6 wet naps. Had to ask another server for silverware when my food was brought out (well after my kids got their wings) Was brought cloth wrapped silverware along with a stack of paper napkins.
This was our first visit and we will definitely return. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, as I expected a mid quality, typical bar food. we started with the shrimp dip appetizer and it was super yummy! My salmon was actually some of the best iâve had - flavored and cooked perfectly. We werenât impressed with the cobb salad wrap or the green beans, but overall a quality experience. The kids had a great time and our waiter was wonderful. we look forward to a return trip soon.
It was a good experience everything was good, only thing was the server was not available the bartender had to come serve us. The trainee was inattentive
We went there to play games but decided to eat there as well. When you go in, you can see the restaurant is to the right but they had a sign at the hostess table that said âclosed to promote distancingâ, but no direction on where to go to be seated. When we were finally seated after asking a staff member, it took about 15 minutes to get our order taken and between the 3 of us at the table, we all got our food brought out 10-15 minutes apart. The first two people were long completed with their meal by the time the 3rd person got their food. I had to get up and get our silverware off another table and had to ask someone who wasnât our server for drink refills. I would not eat here again.
Happy with my experience except 1 piece. I was quoted a 2 hour wait on my table so we went to the bar to eat while the teens and kids played and waited on our table. Well the table was ready 20 min later so they transfered our order to the table, waited 45 min for food because it was left sitting on the bar although steps for the transfer were completed correctly.Our waiter checked in several times to see what was happening with our food and notified kitchen staff.. still our food was left unattended and uncovered at the bar so it got cold. We didn't want to wait another hour for food so we ate the cold food.(it would have been a much better experience to have the hot food, despite that Food was delicious wait staff was professional and friendly took accountability for the error and problem even though they didn't cause it ? great customer service. The establishment is clean and very well maintained. Food is a little over priced so be prepared to spend good money if you're eating there but the quality its restaurant quality so I didn't mind. {We spent roughly $350 (paid gratuity to both bartender and table server) on food games and drinks 2 adults 5 kids ages 18, 16,16, 9, and 5}If you want a perfectly cooked WELL DONE burger ? ? ask for medium rare. 3 of the attractions we attempted to play took funds from the card but didn't let us play. We were told it would be put back on the card but we didn't see the refund before leaving so not sure if that takes a few days and we didn't go back to ask. A few games were down but there was still plenty to do. We stayed roughly 3 hours. With the time and money spent we all left full and the kids had a great time. This was a really fun Dave & Buster’s!!! Large game floor and had many machines I had not seen from other numerous visits to locations across the US.Staff was nice and the gaming floor was clean and tidy.Highly recommend this Dave and Buster’s location in the Birmingham and Hoover, AL area!!!
Once we were seated it took about 5-10 minutes for someone to come take our order. I thought that we could still order with the QR but no QR was visible on the table, I then ask someone how to order and that’s when we were advised that we had to wait on our waiter/waitress. In the mean time we were being passed by by so any different waiters/waitresses. The manager ended up coming to take our order and then our waiter showed up. After we finally got acknowledged everything else was great.
Waitress was untrained and not ready. Order was incorrect but the food was good. The manager explained that kids meals are appetizers, which is why it came out before the appetizers. Dinner showed up wrong (Chicken tenders order but wings were brought out) with the appetizer. After everyone was done eating my food finally showed up. Had to go to the bar to get Drink refills; we watch our waitress and staff just chitchat… not going back for food. Maybe just the games (don’t do the 60min unlimited it is not; they limit how often you can use the card so you are limited to 60 possible plays; more like 20 - 30) what a rip off.
Went for my daughter’s birthday and we had an amazing time
