Service here is awful. Waited 50 minutes for breakfast that never came with no explanation from the waitress. It was NOT crowded. In frustration we walked out before getting our food. The young lady at the front desk was nice. We told her we just wanted to pay for our soda and coffee and leave. She said she could not ring it up but would call a manager up front. I said we were already tired of waiting and I put $7 down on the counter and told her I was sure that was more than enough to pay for our drinks and we left. I hadn't been there in over 2 years and was hoping the service had maybe improved during that time. I was wrong.Expecting perhaps generic "computerized" response...

We were here for a little over 2 1/2 hours. We were told less than a 20 minute wait to be seated. It was 30 minutes. We sat at our table for 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. Our biscuits were brought after our food, which took an hour. Mind you, we had starving twin one-year-olds and a nearly three-year-old, who made their irritability known. Our waitress came by 3 times. It was not at all busy, so we don’t really understand the poor service.

We had a group of 13 eat brunch here. The only positive I have to say is that we were seated in 40 minutes which is good for a big group on Sunday. It all went downhill from there. It took 20 minutes just to get drinks. After about 30 more minutes, our food came out in waves. We didn't have any silverware, so those who got their food first waited about 10 more minutes to get something to eat with! The rest of the group finally got their food. We then waited forever to get our checks which came out all messed up! I talked to the manager, Elizabeth, several times during our 3 HOUR experience who seemed not concerned with our experience. I told her that we should not be charged for our meals, but she did not agree. So many other issues: everyone didn't get all the food they ordered, our server dropped an entire tray of our food which was not cleaned up when we left, the server had us "exchange" foods from one plate to another, and the place was filthy! Never again will I step foot in there. At least our experience could have compensated for!

Tonight was not good. Not many people in the place and still took 25 minutes get seated. Then the waitress said they are short staffed and training new cooks. Food would be slow. We got drinks after 10 minutes, then bread another 10 minutes, then food about 30 minutes later. At least the food was hot. The cornbread was over cooked and second basket of biscuits over cooked also. The check was slow to come. We did get refills on drinks while eating. I do like Cracker Barrel overall, but not this location tonight.

Now my favorite go to for breakfast!! The wait staff are on point and the food is tasty with all kinds of flavor.

The meatloaf was raw, the biscuits were undercooked. No manager came to apologize, no offer to recook it when the second piece was another raw slice thrown on the grill which was still raw inside. The waitress did not even ask if the second slice was cooked. I should have been refunded the cost of this meal. I have eaten at dozens of Cracker Barrels all over the country and have never had an experience like this. Sad, angry and still HUNGRY!!

It's always fun to take the grandkids to Cracker Barrel! They love shopping for a special toy while we're there and the charm is everywhere. So many great southern style dishes to choose from. I love the meatloaf, hash brown casserole, and turnip greens with hot biscuits!

First first word is a caveat. I really feel like this store is understaffed and the folks working here are trying their best and doing a great job under stressful situation Our group of 50 stopped here on a Sunday evening with probably only about an hour notice so remember that. We had 1 waiter for our entire group with 2 others helping some so it took about 1.5 hours to get all our orders. I’m not complaining because the food was good other than the biscuits were really hard but again I think it’s just a staffing issue. My understanding was they had only one cook trying to do all the orders so again probably a staffing issue. Might be a really good place when not busy because food quality was good other than not being very hot by the time it was served. Things could change for the better with a few more staff members.

We were seated right away, but sat for over 15 minutes waiting on a server to acknowledge us. Several servers passed our table repeatedly, as did employees who appeared to be managers. No one spoke, no one even gave us a glance, much less offer to take our order. I can appreciate being understaffed or busy, although neither seemed to be the case today, but employees should at least acknowledge customers and let them know you will be with them shortly. We left and went next door to The Flying Biscuit and had absolutely wonderful customer service. They went over and beyond!!!

great restaurant and hospitality
