The drive through line was already down to the street first time my wife and I saw it. This must be pretty good. Look at the line. She agreed. After about a half hour in line we finally get to see the place from other than the back of the building. The drive-thru menu was very busy and ñconfusing so it was hard to tell what price went with what item. The walkie-talkie system on the outside menu was horrible. It was cutting off intermittently. It was sad to have considered an interpitere when ordering. Our order consisted of a 1. Dbl original cheese burger with cheese lettuce tomato and mayo. Crinkly fries, LG diet coke. My wife ordered. 1 chicken sandwich cheddar cheese bites and a second drink. After a few moments the distorted voice box listed my burger with the correct condiments. Then it announced 2 fries. 2 cheddar cheese 2 chicken case dias 3 sets of sauce and our correct drinks. My wife looked my way shocked. I thought oh well. Im hungry. I'll eat the mistake. The total was around $18 and some change. We got our order and food and found a place to incover our surprise food. Basically all the food was small portions. ..and only half right. Taste: OMG:OMG. OFF THE CHAIN GOOD.. seyu joisl/if you can get passed the downers you ll have a pretty tastey meal
Fast paced place to get your food. The line was quick and they didn't get the order wrong. I would go back here since the service was pretty good.
Wow... This place sure has gone down hill since they opened ..we have had to take 3 things back to get them re cooked. 2 corn dogs burnt up. Husband's chicken sandwich burnt an NO mayo as he ordered. Meat was so burnt that when he bit into it , it crumbed Into powder .. waited an waited on corn dog an sandwich to be re made .. Asked for salt and ranch said they were out !! Well somehow magically both were found. Not sure why theyry said they were out. An my fries also not worth eating. Old an really just a bad experience all the way around. Wish I could share pics on here . I wont t be back ! Frustrating to see people ruin. Good business . Wanna post no stars. But it won't post unless I add a star
This is a classic case of store employees and family members giving it a good rating. A Krystal’s burger has more meat than the big double. Take “big” off the name for real. Fries were soggy. I live within walking distance, so I know they started off that way. If you love onions, this is your place. The amount of onions on the burger outweighed the beef.
First time there , I ordered a cheese burger the condiments were great not the burger meat way over cooked hard as a rock and tasted like a charcoal briquette very disappointed ..
This place is not worth what you pay. Just paid over $13 and all I got was a cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, and a milkshake. I paid well over $3 for chili cheese fries and couldn’t believe the tiny container they came in and they didn’t even fill it up. They barely had cheese on top and it was tasteless. I asked the lady at the window how much my hamburger was and she just said, “I don’t know, they went up on the prices a couple weeks ago”. Wow. I still don’t know how much I paid for it but too much in my opinion. I don’t even eat much at one time so I know when I ate it all and not even full, it was over priced and too small in size. Very disappointed.
This is by far the greatest place I discovered lately and wonder how I never knew anything about The Cook Out. Well let me first say if you have never been before well you got to go check them out apparently they have multiple locations around Birmingham and other cities and I put my word on it you won't regret it and if you do then they has to be something wrong with you lol seriously though. The customer service was absolutely awesome and was very kind if I rated the Customer service on a scale 1 to 10 definitely a 12 no joke very professional and courteous. Now let move on to the menu they have a wide range of options available just like the type food served at a cook out hence the name ? but now as me and a friend went together we purchased 2 hamburgers however we wanted it with whatever topping we chose 2 chicken sandwiches 2 taco salads in a nacho cheese chip bag 2 order of Cajun fries and 2 soft drinks yes we were hungry very hungry but left stomach full leaving us with take homes well now here the good part about all this food with everything together the total was only around $21.00 and I had to ask was that for each but no it was for both I was blown away by this how could all that only cost so little??? So I'm starting to be skeptical cause not only a nice establishment with great customer service that was very professional you now have all this food for such little money how could this be maybe the food really sucked and had no flavor has to be it but wrong a big Wrong at that the food was excellent with great flavor so now you got nice facilities with professional employees that has great customer service with a wide selection of menu items with such a incredibly low prices and the food was just as good. So I definitely will be coming back and back to the location near Hoover . "Don't miss out at The Cook Out". That's my slogan copyrights I own as wells ?
I was first introduced to Cook Out in Wilson, NC after never seeing on in Florida. They have great shakes and the food is better than most fast food restaurants. We have been to the Homewood location twice. Once using the drive thru and recently the lobby. Twice my wife has ordered a hot dog with relish and each time it was not on the hot dog. At least this time we were still in the parking lot and we went back inside. The cashier was very apologetic and offered to have it remade again. That wasn't necessary though and after they provided some relish we were on our way. Just be sure to check your order before you leave.

absolutely NEVER EAT HERE !!! I had to leave children's hospital where my 11 month old daughter was having surgery at to go to another hospital to get treatment. they not only had terrible food but I also got food poisoning from this place. I WILL NEVER be back and neither will my friends or family be eating here.
