We really enjoyed the food. The fried green tomato appetizer, house salad and fresh catch of the day was especially good.4/5 stars as the salads, appetizers and drink prices are somewhat bloated.

Great food and atmosphere.
Came here to celebrate my birthday dinner. The restaurant is nice and the ambience was cute, romantic with dim lighting. There is a cold draft so bring a sweater. For a Tuesday night this place was crowded so be sure to make reservations.The food was good. We ordered the calamari, super crunchy shrimp roll, the bronzed grouper, and the gulf fish parmadine. I read reviews raving about the sushi but it was mediocre, nothing special about it. Our dishes were delicious and the combination of sides they come with complimented the seafood very well! The portions are decent and the service was great.

The food is great! The portions are small compared to the price. We had smoked tuna dip, sushi roll, grouper grilled with lemon sauce, scallops, & bread pudding. All very good, but for $37 I received 3 scallops. The restaurant is not very big so I would recommend making reservations or be prepared to wait. Dress code is casual, jeans were fine to wear as well.
The atmosphere was relaxed, and our waiter Liam was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The sushi was excellent, and the fish and scallops were good. Our highlight was the white chocolate bread pudding for dessert!
We had a fantastic meal at Chuck’s! The gumbo was authentic even to our New Orleanian tastes. The seafood platter was nicely proportioned with fantastic scallops, bronzed redfish, and bacon-wrapped stuffed shrimp. This place supplies their own seafood direct from the Gulf and it shows in the vivid tastes. It would be nice if there were a few more lumens of illumination and if bread were served with the meal, but those are minor quibbles.
