Just had a pretty unpleasant experience here. Our waitress was absolutely horrible. We pretty much ate our whole meal with an empty glass. A good portion of our meal was bad. The corn on the cob was drowned in butter. As well as the ribs completely drowned in barbecue sauce way too much and way overboard. The quesadillas were pretty great save for the fact that they were covered with jalapenos way too many jalapenos on top of the fact that we ask to hold the jalapenos. Upon ordering the appetizer it was completely wrong because the waitress was not paying attention. The appetizer was brought back corrected however we still had to pay for it. Food was decent but not amazing. Service was absolutely horrible. I've enjoyed Chili's at other locations in the past and it was wonderful. This is not a wonderful location.
My server was extremely nice and polite. However, the food was extremely cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting before they brought it out. They could have at least warmed it up! I ordered four different meals for four different people, ALL the food was cold! I do not recommend! NOTE: It was NOT crowded, there was very few people in the restaurant. It is no way possible each dish was cold!
This place was literally so bad they were extremely understaffed. We waited for almost 2 hours for our food and each plate came 15-20 minutes apart. And even when our food came we were still missing stuff that we didn't even get. Our waiter disappeared out of nowhere and he didn't see her for almost 30-45 minutes. And when we were waiting for a table a customer said that they had been waiting for about 2 hours and it was an absolute wreck and a worker had gotten fired right be fired we came here in the middle of the restaurant and the manager apparently told her "just go work at Jim and Nicks" i do not think i will be eating here again after this experience.
Was told it would be a 30 minute wait to get seated. 45 minutes later still no sign of getting a seat anytime soon. Multiple people said the service and food was terrible on their way out. So we up and left. Went to Applebee's and got a seat immediately.
This photo says a lot about the service here!! Waited 40 minutes to be seated then 20 minutes more and never saw a server. They were on their phones up front!!!
I have returned to this chilis for years because the food is always so good, but the service always falls short. Their wait staff has no hustle nor do they care about customer service. Waited for 20 mins to be sat with no customers in the restaurant, and waited an hour for our food even after placing the order. Will not be returning.
Bad slow service we had to ask for napkins and plates for the appetizer we were sharing had to wait to get service so I called them and told them we wanted a beer and they hung up on me I will not be back they only had about 6 other customers so it wasn’t because they were busy slow service bad service
Came in at 2:45pm. Only hostess and one cook working. 30 minute wait only 2 other people in dining room. Left. Would be a great place for a restaurant if someone wants to open one
I have *NEVER* in my entire life left a bad review-until today. After having dinner last night, I just cannot let this horrible experience go without warning other people! DO NOT GO EAT AT CHILI’S!!!! I understand that life happens and people have a bad day, but in Chili’s last night THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT had a bad atmosphere. So, let’s start from the beginning of our visit. Our party of 6 people arrived at the restaurant around 8:15 pm. The posted hours of operation on the building said the restaurant closed at 11 pm, but in a sign taped to the door the hours were newly updated for the restaurant to close at 10 pm. The posted sign also said there will be an automatic 30 minute wait. We were fine with that so we walk in to put our name down on the list. The hostess reluctantly wrote down our name, after telling us several times the wait would be 35 minutes. She looked like it actually annoyed her to take the few seconds to write down a name and pass us our buzzer for the table. We waited outside until about 9 pm, and since the buzzer hadn’t gone off yet we went inside to go check on the table. We walked inside to see employees peering around the corner from the back. They were trying to see if we were going to stay and wait to be seated or if we were going to give up and leave. The hostess walked in what seemed like slow motion to the front. By this time it was 9:15 pm and we had been waiting to just *BE SEATED* for over an hour. ? When we arrived to the restaurant at 8:15 pm they had maybe had 10 guests in the entire place. By the time we actually got seated at 9:15 pm, there were 2 people sitting at the bar and a family in the restaurant. Our waitress came to get our order unenthusiastically, and she never once smiled or introduced herself. Our drinks were *NEVER* refilled, but each time she came to our table to deliver food she would glance and see they were empty. Several members of our party received their food cold, and just decided to take it to go so they could warm it up at home. She forgot to bring us our ordered dessert because she was trying to rush us out of the restaurant. We had to remind her, and we just took it to go. We will never again be going to Chili’s. The location we went to was Chili’s Grill & Bar (1676 Gasden Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama 35235). The waitress’ name on the receipt was Bambino (which I believe is 1000% fake), but we wouldn’t know because she never introduced herself the entire visit. This restaurant gets ZERO STARS from me!!!! I would have had a much more enjoyable time making a PB&J sandwich at home. It would’ve been way more delicious and at least I would have kept my water filled. ??♀️? #donoteatatchilis
My frozen margarita was so good service was not really good but that was because only one server was available. Asked for the original chicken crispers and he brung me extra crispy when food arrived after mistake chicken was not done. When I get home I'm just gone put them in the oven.Other then that everything was good
