Below is an honest 1 star review, when I returned to this Chickfila location and spoke to the manager, she immediately had two fresh sandwiches and threw in some fries to gratis for all. This goes to show that when management is present quality is maintained. Other times not so much? For making it right? The rating goes back up to 3 stars. It was really a 4 star visit but it was a freebie too.My wife is a patient at UAB right now, I've seen multiple nurses with Chickfila bags. We LOVE Chickfila. But, this was without a doubt the worst sandwich I've ever gotten from Chickfila. The bags were hot, so I was looking forward to a great snack. After getting back to my wifes room, we pulled the sandwiches out, they evidently had been under a heat lamp and made some time earlier. The bread was hard and the chicken was dry. This IS NOT what I expect from Chickfila! $9 for two sandwiches that we only ate because I had paid for them and it would be a really long walk to take them back. This outlet needs some training and direction on maintaining food quality! I'm not a happy customer.
Don't come here if you are in a rush. They are not organized and can be rude. This is nothing like the chik fil a you may be accustomed to.
Store was cluttered with boxes and looked like they had an office in the dining room.
They need to do less talking and more working. Plus they can be rude.
Not enough people working made for slow service.
Having been a former fast food restaurant employee, I completely understand how fast-paced and tiresome working with customers can be...HOWEVER, I always brought my A game whenever I provided service to other people and I EXPECT that everywhere I go. My past few experiences at this Chick-Fil-A location have NOT been the best. I can understand the wait time because after all, it's Chick-Fil-A. I can't understand why my fries are cold when they are busy. I also wish they had a better name system, especially when multiple people have the same name. The cashiers are always nice though. They are efficient and thorough when relaying my order to those working in the back. This location is clearly privately owned, and it's unfair to people who patronize locations OUTSIDE of the hospital. Being able to use points, coupons and gift cards keep customers coming back. I know of several people who stopped coming due to not being able to use the perks. This location also runs out of condiments OFTEN. They've even begun limiting condiments in situations where MORE is BETTER. This location isn't a good representation of the Chick-Fil-A, the company at ALL. I would NOT recommend it unless the WRONGS are CORRECTED.
Please note that this location is located inside of UAB hospital (Jefferson Towers). All I can say is that at this location it's all about timing, but either way you loose.? If you go between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. the lines are long and the wait time is just too much. ? Good news!! Several cashiers and the food is fresh!! ?If you go after 1:30 p.m. the lines are shorter, but you still have to wait because it's only one cashier.? Food is not as fresh.? So, you pick! ?
This Chick-fil-a is never as efficient as any other location. They only offer carry-out and I just waited over 30 minutes to receive my food. Probably would have been longer if I didn’t bring it to an employees attention. There were two other people whose orders seemed to have been lost in the mix as well. They stood there for as long as I did.
Very nice people and good service.
Fast, friendly customer service and fresh food make this location a winner!
