We love the fantastic food - unsurpassed . The little extras of palate cleanser and dessert truffle and sample appetizer were special treats. Our very special occasion was tainted by our repeatedly having told them that it was our 50th anniversary. They were told when reservation was made a month ago, in email they sent, in text they sent to confirm, in our call to them Thursday night before Saturday reservation once we arrived in Bham from Fl, in yet another text they sent and their phone call to confirm on Saturday where we reiterated they had not acknowledged it. That girl said they knew now and gave us well wishes. We were EXTREMELY disappointed that no one said a word all night from hostess who should have seen it on her reservations list to our waitress who could not take a hint. I guess we were expecting maybe someone to say something after dinner based on our experiences at other fine dining establishments. Just go for food which is pricey but delicious but do not go for special occasions expecting them to acknowledge your event no matter how special.
Enjoyed the evening, food was great. Service seemed a little inexperienced but handled things very well. Next time we will sit at the bar and talk with Brock
It was a good solid experience. Very good for and the service complimented the dining evening.
Always a terrific meal at Cafe DuPont. Nice crowd as Birmingham returns to more normal dining.
