We came in to have a nice dinner after leaving a funeral home, I had not been there in about 10 years.I ordered the baked feta. When it was brought to the table the bread was burnt. Shouldn't have even left the kitchen. Macaroni n cheese n chicken wasnt even hot when it was served. For those prices that was unacceptable. The only thing I enjoyed was the martini and my friends bite of her steak.Poor quality for the price. Sorry. Hopefully my next visit will be better.

As for the matter of the burnt honey vs coconut pecan cakes, the latter wins hands down. Very good cake. The pork chop was excellent as well as was the baked feta starter.

One for the best experiences I had ever have, food was superb and the atmosphere is classy and nice

Wanted to like this place but sadly it was just so so. The building is beautiful and that’s what brought me in.The women’s bathroom left much to be desired. It felt like a hole in the wall. Didn’t even have a decent mirror. It had a grungy, unsanitary feel to it.Our server was just… present. She brought our food. That was it really. She didn’t do much beyond that. The risotto was meh, nothing special (yes, despite the shaved truffles). I didn’t finish it, and didn’t take the rest home, and the portion was by no means large. Dessert was the coconut, pecan cake. It wasn’t terrible but was very small for $12.The patio is pretty so I’d consider coming back on the strength of that and trying a pizza and people watching, but that’s about it.

Very fine food, service, and atmosphere. I had always wanted to go to Chef Frank Stitt's restaurant, having been a big fan when he appeared on Turner South's Off the Menu, way back when. We were highly pleased and enjoyed our visit.Made reservations for me and my wife after attending Beyond Van Gogh. Food was incredible, fresh, and flavorful. We started with the baked feta marinara and fococcia, then split a salad - delicious. For the main course, my wife had the pork chop and I had the hanger steak - both were fabulous. Was absolutely one of the best flavored steaks I have ever eaten. The vegetables we super flavorful and fresh. Finnally, the deserts were to die for, I had the coconut cake and she had the tiramisu. The restaurant itself was impressive. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. For the experience and excellent food, the price was fine. Look forward to going again.

Very disappointing...... On arrival, I waited fully 10 minutes for the glass of wine I ordered .. (And, the wine was served ice COLD - The beginning of a string of issues dealing with temperature).. The food was quite delicious, but it was COLD ! (Hint here guys; warm the plates). Then, a quick trip to the restroom.. Oddly, the sink is plumbed with only a single water pipe with a garden hose spigot.. Temperature? Yep, , its COLD water. Even paying the bill seemed a bit NQR (not quite right)... The wait staff brought an electronic card machine reader to the table that presents only the total due. No check or bill for us to review to better understand the $$$$ amount displayed on the screen? Very strange. Overall, a disappointing evening. For us, Bottega is in the penalty box for the next several months.

Outstanding food. Caviar was to die for, beef cheek was amazing and the grouper was super good. I will definitely go back and I recommend this place.

Great evening of food, service, and charm of the Bottega building. Started with the hummus platter. The hummus was an unusual but delish preparation. It came with crudite and bread that we swooned over! Next were salads. Tasted farmer market fresh and also very good. Next was chicken piccata and a vegetarian spaghetti. Both were flavor bombs. As a mostly vegetarian, I was unexpectedly blown away by this spaghetti flavor. The best I have ever had. As an avid cook, i hope to recreate this as we were visiting from AZ. We will be back! I love old houses architecture and Bottega did not disappoint. The added holiday lights made it even more beautiful.

I haven’t been to Bottega in 15 years, and am SO glad we went back. I took my 20 yo daughter very early on a Friday night (4:00). It kills me that I don’t remember our server’s name. He was SUPERB. There were only a few other seated tables, and our waiter was 100% attentive without hovering over us. The food was nearly all superb. We had a delicious antipasti platter, I had the NY strip (perfect on the inside and seared on the outside, just like I like it), and my daughter had the scallops risotto. The scallops were tender, fresh, and done to perfection. The risotto looked good, but was bland. It was the only minor stumble in a wonderful meal. We also shared a chocolate peanut butter dessert that wasn’t overly sweet. Just the right finish. If I was a teacher, I would give Bottega an A+.

First time, out-of-towner. Wish we would have reserved outside seating as it was gorgeous. Inside was beautiful and peaceful, even being near the street. Food was amazing. Our group each ordered all different desserts and shared. 5/5 would recommend every dessert!! Service and attention to the "table environment" made this a flawless and pampered experience.
