Great experience! Had a reservation at Le Fresca, right down the street for our anniversary dinner. When we got there, they inexplicably gave our table away and sat us at the bar. The hostess was apologetic but the owner/manger was pathetic. Made a reservation at Bocca while sitting there and left. Should have chosen Bocca first! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Amateurâs down the street at Le Fresca! Thank you Bocca for saving our anniversary dinner!

Tomato salad had subpar tomatoes. Steak overcooked. Guest did not enjoy his pasta.
Service was extra slow Noise level was over the top. We all had to yell at each other The salad & pasta course were delicious. Veal Marsala was not good
The food was solid but overall nothing to rave about, particularly given the price point. We started with the bread service (focaccia for $5) which was quite good and the caprese appetizer which was adequate. For entrees, shrimp scampi with linguini and veal marsala with an added side of linguini (recommended by our server since it did not come with a starch). Our favorite item was the glazed donut dessert - delicious! The service was very good, the ambience in the front room was missing something. Overall an underwhelming experience - perhaps why we were able to get a reservation on a Saturday night just a few days in advance.

Great food and ambiance! I do feel the portions were small compared to the price. The carpaccio was especially good, and I would recommend, but with fair warning regarding portions. I do think this worked well for a business meal when people are less likely to take leftovers.
