First off I must say. I am VERY disappointed. My Family and I spent $53.11 today ( 5/28/22 ). My order was the Chicken fingers with Fries. WELL ( angry face) the fries tasted like they were microwaved. And if you don’t know what taste is that. Let me explain.. It’s like chewing rubber. But this rubber dissolves. Right UGH! And the thought of the cashier not letting me go by with $0.11… Ha…. He made me break a whole dollar for those $0.11….And I’m not going to get on the rest of the food but just know. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.. I don’t think they liked Us because it’s like, none of the food tasted like it was just cooked. I’m so disappointed in Al’s but I’m more sorry for my $53.11 cause I should’ve had more respect for Mr. Pres. Ulysses Grant.

We went to eat lunch this Sunday. First off, WAY overpriced. I ordered a falafel pita combo, my husband ordered a gyro pita combo, and my twin 3 year olds split a grilled cheese. Those 3 things cost right at $33. Ridiculous. My falafel was DRY. I mean, dry. I had to take a sip of my drink in between every bite so I wouldn't choke. I took one of my daughters to the restroom. There was a dead mouse in the toilet. I get it's the city, but it had been there a long time, as there were lots of droppings in the bowl. I could only eat half of my falafel pita, so when I asked for some sauce to take with me, they wanted to charge another $1.50.The man who took our order at the regster was polite, but between the ridiculous pricing and disgusting sanitation habits, we will not back. Don't waste your time or money.

Wow! The menu has items I have never heard of. I tried food that I can't even pronounce. It was delicious! I had fish; my husband had chicken. I will eat here every time I'm in Birmingham. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves.

Their food is always good But, this was the first time I been there since they re- open. Only the people work there had on mask and as small as the area is it need to been mask covering. The guy standing behind me would not stand back 6 feet. The only customer that had on a mask was a guy that came in when I was leaving. Never on a crowded day again.

Great American food at great prices. Portion sizes are big and overall a great experience that I will definitely revisit.Seating area is not always the best, but still comfortable and usable.

The cheeseburgers and fries were excellent! Like... among the best fries I've ever had. The wild rice was so good I wish there was more of it in the plate. The chicken kabob was ok, not the greatest but, ok. The ribeye steak was actually a let down. I hadn't had steak in a while so the anticipation build up was met with dissatisfaction lol. It was dry ?Customer service was great and the food did take a little long to be ready but we didn't mind that too much.

Best food on this side of town, a little rough around the edges but don't let that detour you from this place!

Waited 2 hours on my food, about 5 customers that ordered behind me got their food before me and I was still there waiting on my order. I will never eat there again, that's poor and very unprofessional service I received

Very good authentic food! Calling is the only reason I gave this restaurant a four star. They're very busy and can only answer phone when they have a chance. If it's a call-in order, please make sure to get in line when picking up. I've seen food go in the garbage for breaking in line. Very good people, very good food.

The food was ok, not bad, but took too long to receive. We were a dine in party of four, and other people came, ordered, got their food, and left while we waited. They obviously prioritize take out over dine in. I won't be back.
