Pretty good drinks and relaxed atmosphere with several shuffleboards and other games throughout. However, as other reviewers have mentioned; the older male bartender with a beard is extremely unhappy working there. It was difficult for him to even communicate with me, a patron. This was a Thursday afternoon with a dead bar so I’m unsure why he was in such a poor mood. I sincerely hope he doesn’t act this way every day or this place will lose so many customers each time he works. I’ll give it another chance but hopefully when I go a second time the bartender won’t be there.And if the bartender ever reads this… please for your own mental health, get a new job my dude. You deserve to be happy and this is obviously not the place you’re finding it.
Came for the drinks but stayed for the food!!! Really nice atmosphere pretty laid back mixed crowd... I enjoyed the live performance also..

Been here a few times. Man, I’ve always had a blast. Lots of choices of beers, darts, good cocktails (but I prefer straight up bud heavy and Tully shots). Avondale has come a long way. 5 stars
Don’t take your kid there. Rude bartenders. Trying to visit with friends from out of town on a slow Saturday afternoon before 5 and they told us to leave . Can understand if we were being obnoxious but simply minding our own business with our friends. Will let dogs in that bark at people but won’t let you take a kid in there. Hope your business is a failure moving forward. Do yourself a favor a get some new bartenders or don’t.
Have only been here once but had so much fun. They have shuffleboard, darts, and a huge wall Scrabble board. Free popcorn as well. Bartender was nice. Will definitely be back.

The older white male bartender with glasses and a shaved head that was working the evening of 8/20 is 100% the reason why I won’t return. He was extremely rude, snippy, and short. Funny thing is the bar was pretty dead, so I’m not sure why he was acting like this was a slammed evening from 2013. I understand it’s difficult to hire great help these days, but do yourself a favor and axe that jerk. He will do nothing but hurt your business. A day later, I’m still shocked he’s employed by you all. My friends and I won’t be returning, we will go literally anywhere else, you can thank that bartender for losing you like 10 customers.
