Food was good and the service was good. They were kinda busy, and it was early, breakfast time, so we expected it would be a little more of a wait. Overall, everything was fine. I would go back, just wait a little later until the breakfast crowd had died down.
Told us they weren't open at 11pm despite saying they took take-out orders, then wouldn't let us place a take-out order. They straight-up shooed us away before we even got out of the car! Never have I had a worse experience at a Waffle House, and I had once had a worker throw napkins directly at my face at the location on Valley Avenue in Homewood a few years ago.Management should be thoroughly ashamed. Tempted to never go back to a Waffle House again, based solely on this experience.
Went there, asked for a sandwich, sweet tea, and eggs. Got my food before my drink. Got no fork for my eggs. Show my CAC card to confirm military discount and didn't get it. I understand if you guys are cleaning up so you can do take out but I'm still here.
Very sad u have 4 people working and u have the aliased to tell me I can't eat in ur lobby, but they have other people in the eating. This store needs new workers that care about the customers and their own self. Very lazy.
Great service and good food very nice staff better than huddle house in hueytown they good just got a bad attitude cook.

I’ve been to one Waffle House and I thought it was disgusting. We came here to try it and honestly this location changed my mind. The service and food was fast and efficient. I would definitely go back again.
Love eating here but every single time we go to the waffle house off of green springs and valley Avenue there is ALWAYS an issue they either don't have a cook or there isn't enough servers or their disinfecting we can NEVER go inside and have a meal so hats off to Gardendale & Fultondale for always being on top of things thank you pp
Interesting for sure, like they were watching me walk, heard one say its just her, assuming they properly didn't want even me there... coffee was ice cold, hashbrowns were not as I ordered, wanted well done. These were super light, otherwise the food was very good.
The staff is fast & friendly. Usually do a pickup and have never had any problems with our complicated orders being done to perfection.
