I am born and raised in the South and my husband is a true blood Yankee! On our way home from visiting family in Louisiana/Texas on our way back to Jersey we stopped here and we were SO glad!! The food was amazing!!My husband got the fried catfish…it was fresh, crispy and seasoned to perfection and the his sweet potato fries were so so good! The pieces of catfish were so large!!I got the boiled shrimp with the hot/Cajun seasoning and they were perfect!And to top it all off our server, Brooks, was the BEST!!!We definitely plan on stopping here next year on our yearly trek down South!!!
This place was horrible on so many levels. My food wasn't hot. Once my bag was brought to me it was a lil skimpy which it was. Everything wasn't in my was my bag andnearly no sauce on my bag. They had one waitress with almost 15 people. I won't be back!!
Great place to eat, but they need more work help. Both of the servers were running around like crazy to serve multiple tables. I felt sad for them.
Wings were not done. Me and another table ended up sending them back and getting a refund. The crab legs were good tho.
Went to meet friends drank bottled beer and ordered their shrimp basket appitizer. Was large and had a varidty of dipping sauces. Staff was friendly service was good portions were large. Nice place to meet friends for drinks or diner.
First time there. It wasn't busy. Sat wherever we wanted. The server was friendly. He checked on us during our meal to make sure we were doing fine. I had the fried oysters and my dining companion had fried shimp. Serves was quick. Both meals came with Cajun fries, and there were plenty of them. Both meals were extremely good. I will return to eat here again. I highly recommend the restaurant.
After driving from NC to AL we needed a great meal and this place did not disappoint! I truly think it was one of the BEST meals I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten a lot of places. Outstanding food (the king sauce was AMAZING), unbelievable prices, and the friendliest service made it a great experience. To our waiter - you are top-notch and thank you for making our night a great one!
Decided to try this and it was very good. The shrimp boil with sausage, corn & potatoes was very good. The fried Catfish basket was excellent. They were short staffed, but did an excellent job. Definitely will go again when in the area.
Great place. Frog legs superb. Large portions. Staff very nice and cool. Super laid back people.
Friendly server. Great atmosphere. Huge selections. Looking forward to the gumbo
