People are always extremely friendly and this is one of the only places I can usually not even finish my meal (and im kind of a big guy haha) bc the portions are big.This sandwich is half as tall as my cup and still spent less than I would at a burger joint.I'm not a vegetarian but they have different options for ppl with different diets and parking was pretty easy to find

Top notch. Friends staff and we got our food incredibly fast. With the lunch rush, we expected to be waiting a while. Great job!
They have good food but the prices are ridiculous. Not my usual spot. It attracts a clientele that isn't, well...me. ?
The food is always amazing and always fresh. They have great and speedy service. The only complaint i have is that any time I add Broccoli to my potato it seems to be more on the raw side. I prefer it to be Steamed. The service is still spectacular and the lemonade is a must try.
My granddaughters go here all the time. I never tried it because I am gluten free and didn't know if they had anything I could eat. I tried it today and they have several gluten free options. The veggie spud is awesome and huge. A great little eatery with good food at reasonable prices.
Thank you McCalla McAllisters! I've been sick for 2 days and the Country Potato Soup was just what I needed! Order was ready, hot and delicious! My husband waited at Cracker Barrel in Bessemer yesterday for over an hour on 1 order of chicken and dumplings. He finally gave up and left. I last visited a McAllister's in Tuscaloosa many years ago where food and service were very nice. Today, I decided to eat at the one on Promenade Pkwy in Bessemer.A young woman with a blue afro had a very bad disposition. She appeared to not understand me when I requested 2 McAllister's Clubs, one with light mayo and mustard. She also became very irritated when I called her attention to touching the inside of the lid of my soda after using the touchscreen when taking my order.Her response was "My hands are clean!" She asked me how to spell my name; when I began to spell it, she nastily replied, "I know how to spell it!" I asked for my receipt and she gave it to me with much attitude and didn't even give me straws for my sodas. I recommend that stores really become concerned with who's at their cash registers. I don't plan on coming back.
