Very good late night place to eat after leaving Auburn ER. Employees were nice and friendly and food was hot and filling. Will definitely be back to this location on South College Street.
Not a 24 hour waffle house. Went in at 3am and was told they weren't taking orders. Doors were unlocked and lights were on. Just figured I'd let folks know.
Meh. Not the best Waffle House but not the worst. Asked for patty melt, got it with bacon and no onions. Got the onions on the side when I asked for them, which was fine. Bathroom was filthy, tables not clean. Probably wouldn't return to this one.
One star because this is the third waffle house in Alabama to either be closed or at the very least will not answer the phone for a to go order... Im staying in the hotel next door and wanted to call in... Im sitting here watching potential customers walk away the door is locked with employees inside lights on... What is going on in our country you can't get some waffle heezy nice n greazy? Anymore?
I haven't been to this location a lot. Issues we had were solved. (Minor order problems.) But first thing after coming in they'd offered to get my service dog something if he needed it. They gave him a bowl of water. Which we where both grateful for.
Just getting off work tried to call but no one answered thinking they busy I pull up walk in it's 3 workers and 3 customers or relatives to the workers the cook speaks to me I sent down in the stool without even looking at me one worker woman says in these exact words We ain't cooking nothing we cleaning up ... But I see food the cook is cooking .. I will never go back their because that was so embarrassing and awkward I felt like I was irritating them just because I wanted to place an order
Seeing as we were the only people their. I would have rather had better service. Our drinks stayed empty. Server never came and picked up plates or anything. I still tipped well over what should have been tipped. I was however very very unhappy with the service.

Seemed a bit short staffed, but good service and good food always makes a difference.
They're only doing take out right now, so last night a few of my friends and I popped in to place a to go order. They were so accommodating and willing to make whatever we wanted (even if the specific combination wasn't on the menu). Plus, the employees were friendly and served us quickly. Absolutely loved my eggs and bacon!
