This is the best restaurant I have ever been able to dine at. I can say with complete unbridled enthusiasm that you will have one of the greater food experiences of your life here. Enjoy!
They went ABOVE + BEYOND for us today. We get the Happy Family dinner and I had no idea the chicken in that meal was made with beer and they threw in some grilled chicken to make sure it was GF. It’s not often a restaurant has such an informed staff. We love their tacos and EXCEPTIONAL service.

First time here and I love it! Great tacos and burritos. Definitely try the Jose jalapeño margarita.
As we were sitting at two different tables, my friend sat her purse down to go get in line to order. Once she had gotten up, some worker came and took her purse and said we “couldn’t save tables”. We were not saving tables. My friend eventually came to sit down with her purse and then proceeded to go wash her hands before she ate and the same worker took her purse and again said we couldn’t save tables. I tried to tell her we weren’t saving tables and my friends were already sitting there waiting for food but she proceeded to take her purse off the table in order to let someone else sit there. My friends are African American and I will never eat here again.
food was absolutely horrid. the manager, rick I believe, also made repeated lewd comments and gestures towards my 7-year-old daughter. overrated and disgusting
Fun atmosphere. Definitely more college students. Brought my girls for a college tour and stopped here for dinner. Con: you have to stand in line to place your order at the counter (we stood in line for 30 minutes - the college kids didn’t seem to mind at all!) and you can’t grab a table until you’ve ordered. However, the food comes out fast and the tables turnover quickly - once we ordered we got a table outside and it was a beautiful night. They bring your food to your table. Pro: lively and the food was a pleasant surprise. I had a fried flounder taco that was delicious! And a regular crunchy beef taco - also good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade - even the chips. My Spicy cucumber margarita was super tasty. Although I didn’t love standing in line to order, it turned out to be a good choice. My girls enjoyed the lively college student scene. And it’s affordable. 2 tacos, a side and chips was only $10. I would definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for a very casual dining experience.
Wonderful chorizo tacos. The queso was sublime and the chips were salted well. The water was also very good. However, as the people of Auburn are known to do, they did not provide napkins. This is a huge deal for me. I love napkins.
We love taco mama! I had the fat boy burrito with guac and a sangria and it was delicious. We can always count on taco mama to be fresh and yummy!
Best food and margaritas around! We love going here!
