The beignets are super good right when you first get them. They do not taste good if you try to eat later. The fact each sauce is $1 is a bit ridiculous considering you basically need the sauce to eat them.
Even in the summertime in a college town, where everything is dead, they go out of their way to please you! I know many people don't think about sauces when it comes to eating beignets. But if you don't try these sauces, you are missing 50% of the experience. 25% is the beignet and the other 25% is walking out in powdered sugar LOL

Their Beignets are the bomb. Cinnamon syrup over everything! Pro tip: take a bite and pour the syrup inside the beignet. You can thank me later.Do yourself a favor and order the Iced Coffee and Chicory to wash down those beignets. I haven’t had an iced coffee better on this side of the Mississippi! Mo Bay’s is a must stop whenever we travel through Mobile! So excited to see them opening new locations!! We absolutely love the beignets here with the buttercream sauce. Paired with the cafe au lait or the coffee and chicory….yes please!

Our first time there has been a pleasure! The food was fresh and delicious (I only tend to eat out what I can't or won't make at home), the coffee was rich and fresh (chickory) even my puppy was welcome! One thing that struck me was how very clean everything is, even in the back. I value that and recommend it wholeheartedly.
I highly recommend the mini beignets. Perfect for dipping their awesome syrups! I love the buttercream syrup and I have loved their seasonal syrups too! Strawberry, lemon, all fantastic!
