Let me start by saying I have not eaten at this establishment. I looked over the menu a while back and the food seemed a bit eccentric for my palate. However it’s the negative reviews that make me want to try it. There were two negative reviews to which the responses were flawless. The first review was towards racial discrimination. The owner responded with time stamps as a rebuttal, but also acknowledged a zero tolerance for racial discrimination as a minority owned establishment. The second negative review the owner looked at the camera and verified the customers complaint. Their response was ownership! They verified the area they were lacking, acknowledged the complaint and desire to correct the behavior, No excuses we’re given. These responses demonstrate they care about their customers experience. For this reason I want to be a customer. That being said you can’t please every customer case and point when the time stamps verify a lie also the customer that complained about what they serve. If you don’t like the kind of food served just choose not to eat there not leave a bad review to which the owner’s response was flawless there too, which was No response. Their energy and effort went to acknowledging the things worthy of acknowledgment the things that they can learn from to improve customers experience not fluffy apologies towards a choice to serve food native to their culture. Again if you don’t like the type of food choose a restaurant that serves food you do like. I want to visit just to support a business starting out and doing their best to ensure their customers enjoy their experience.I will update my review on my experience once I have.
Food was good but service lacking, granted we did have a large group and expected some waiting due to that factor, however our servers were not interested in providing timely service, we got up several times to go get pitchers to refill our own drinks because the servers were sitting in a booth in the back on their phones. Wish I could leave a good review but the service was so lacking, I would not return.
If i could give 0 stars, i would. We had to ask to be seated. We were seated away from the rest of the customers. The rest of the customers were sitting in booths along the right wall. We were seated on the far left. The waiter brought our appetizer out 40 minutes we ordered. After being told our food would arrive in 5 minutes, we sent the appetizer back. The waiter turned up his nose a countless number of times. He also failed to wait on us. He came to our table a total of 3 times, we watched him tend to the other customers repeatedly. As the only African American customers in the establishment we felt unwelcomed. Would not recommend and definitely will not be going again.
Great experience. We had dinner today. Not today, yesterday. It’s so fresh and delicious. They were quite busy, the booth seat are full, and I heard they had a lot of come back customers. We had hot pot, the soup are pretty good, it looks clear and healthy. Not like fried and grill, the food are boiled in the soup. And they had helped us to make the dipping sauces.Very clean and different environment, excellent service. Feel bad to keep so late, definitely recommend, best hot pot in Auburn.
If you want something you've never tried or just a good meal in general, do NOT skip out on Lucky Pot. This feels and tastes like a family owned affair. (I can't know for sure but does that matter?) I highly recommend getting Bone Broth Soup and the Szechuan Spicy Soup for your pot. Order some mushrooms, some meat and baby bok choy and get ready for a grand slam of a meal. The experience is half of it and don't be intimidated, the staff here is more than happy to help. Mix up a sauce or two at the sauce bar (loved the interactivity here) and add it to whatever you'd like. If I could give this 6 stars I would. Cannot miss this restaurant.
Got sesame chicken and asked them to make it crispy, it was very good and they made it crispy!! Ide recommend over alot of other places
Great hotpot! This was my family’s first time trying hotpot and we loved it. Friendly service and great selection. We had the Szechuan and bone broth split pot and several types of meat, seafood, and vegetables. We enjoyed every dish we tried!
Christmas Day. After the bowl game. Heading home and hungry. We stopped here. They were busy so it took a little bit of time to get our order but DANG!! The food was great! I had Kung Pow chicken. Very good!! We didn't try the hot pot though. Maybe another time.
Fantastic. New favorite Asian food place in AU/Opelika. The service was friendly, quick and professional. The atmosphere was clean, bright, and welcoming. The food was very reasonably priced, large portions, and excellent quality. Great mix of unique and traditional options along with some more standard fare (think kung pao, sesame chicken, lo mean) for folks who want something familiar. Displays deserves much more Buzz than I have seen!
This was the neatest place I’ve ever eaten at in Auburn! We really enjoyed it! Wonderful service and great good!
