I would not dare come here again. I just had the worst 1st experience. I ordered, recieved the meal in a decent amount of time BUT noticed that my BILL included a .45 cent charge that states TAKE OUT and this was one meal over $20. I called back because I didnt notice the charge until I came home. When I called I was told that the Mgr would be with me in 5 mins. 5 mins turned to 17 mins and someone hung up. My time is money and I'm invested at that point. I call back and was told because I ordered steak and the fact they include plastic ware (which I never recieved) that is why it's an upgrade. BTW, they were NOT the Manager, just someone to pass me off on.. It wasnt busy and only had 4 cars in the lot. I simply wanted a professio al person to tell me WHY I'm being charged when I used MY GAS and I even tip at checkout..They dont show you the itemized bill until you've paid ofcourse. This should be posted visibly for customers because I surely could've went to the other Mexican restaurant near the walmart.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISMISSIVE. Never again....
This place is underrated in my opinion. Although the lighting in the dining area is very well-lit. It isn’t a bad thing, but it was different and a little odd at first. The service was really good. Laredo’s seems to be well-staffed, and the servers are attentive and speedy. When we were seated, our waiter came promptly with a nice plate of chips and salsa (the salsa was great!) Our meals were simple, but home-y, and it was like eating a meal made by Mom. Great portions, too, you likely won’t be leaving still hungry.

I got food from them last night and it gave me food poisoning. When I called and told them that the manager flat out told me, "How am I supposed to know you aren't lying?? I sell thousands of meals and no one has ever complained before." I told him how can he sit there and say that when I am telling him I am sick. He was like well did you go to the hospital and I told him no because I literally can not move. He said well I am sorry but we are not refunding your money because we don't know if you are being honest or not. I have an 8 year old daughter and 2 month old son and can't even see about them due to these people and their food. I have never been so insulated in all my life. I will never go back to them! All I can do is warn people that if they make you sick they will take no responsibility for it. Beware!!

I can honestly say we have never gotten bad food from this restaurant. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The cashier is always friendly. They have the best Mexican food in the Opelika/Auburn area!
