Best authentic Mexican food I have ever had! Small, quaint restaurant with friendly service and a salsa bar to die for! Just stop and eat, you would be doing yourself an injustice not too!
La Morenita Taqueria is a gem. I've always loved Mexican food, but this place has painted me into a corner. The food is simply amazing. the family that runs it is always happy to see people enjoying themselves. the restaurant is clean, and the location is perfect. they have a bar with salsas, limes, salad, and hot sauces. and if they don't have the best horchata I've ever had then don't wake me up. I love this place, dearly.
After waiting 15-20 minutes for my order to be taken, although my food was hot, it wasn't tender nor tasty. While guests of a lighter complexion had their orders taken within 5 minutes of sitting down. I had a work call while waiting on my food and I stepped outside to take it, the Manager stepped outside to either check the weather or to see if I skipped out on the check (will let you decide on that one). My Margarita tasted like a cheap wine cooler. And lastly, EVERYTHING on my ticket, except my wine cooler Margarita was higher than priced on the menu. My review history speaks for itself and this is by far the 2nd worst Mexican Restaurant I've ever visited.
Was good not the best in my opinion but the servers were friendly and overall I enjoyed myself was expensive tho
the food is fresh AF. I love that they have a salsa bar with so many options. the Verde was amazing! atmosphere is fun and it's very clean.... it's definitely a step above the standard Mexican restaurants around here. I'll be back asap....

In a town with too many Mexican restaurants, La Morenita stands well above its competitors. Don’t let the appearance fool you. The best street tacos in town, and stiff but delicious drinks make for a great experience. For those that are adventurous, they also have an excellent assortment of Latin American themed seafood dishes.
This is one of the best places to get Mexican food in Auburn. I got Sopes and my wife had the Pollo Loco dish and Morentia fries and everything was great. They have a large outdoor seating area. My server was patient and helpful as well.
The food was delicious, the service was great, and the drinks were amazing. We weren't fans of the rainbow drink flavors, but overall I enjoyed it!
