Meh! Nice presentation but it was bland. The wasabi was the weakest I've ever had. Literally straight into my mouth and nothing.
Great little place. We chose this for date night at random. We're glad we did! Waiter and hostess were fast and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing! We found our new favorite sushi bar and will gladly travel 45 minutes just to go here. :)
Good sushi and attentive service, with a smile. My first time here, not my last. The one thing that could be improved on would be the amount of Wasabi sauce. I don't need a lot, but probably more than a quarter teaspoon.
Eh. This is like a value-sushi restaurant. Except, the prices aren’t even value. I think that the sushi is a bit overpriced for the quality that they are. They’re not really made with love, eating them wasn’t a very satisfying or enjoyable experience. Look at the photo to see the haphazard way they put the crab salad on top of the rolls :/. I ordered the pom- scato, and it was not at all worth the purchase. It was extremely syrupy and too gross for me to finish let alone drink. It was like cough syrup!!! My boyfriend and I took an L at this place, we won’t be spending our money here again. If you really like sushi and hate to see it disgraced, you’re better off taking your money elsewhere.
Cozy setting, fantastic service and great Sushi at a reasonable price. Keep up the good work guys! Highly recommend.
If you like Aburi Sushi the chef is happy to torch your nigiri selection in order to achieve that amazing smoky umami flavor.
Fuji Sushi Bar is a cozy little restaurant with a variety of choices, a warm and attentive staff, and reasonable prices.
I am a loyal customer at Fuji here in Auburn, or I guess was a loyal customer. I place to-go orders here a couple times a month but the last time I visited earlier this week, I was very rudely and disrespectfully greeted by the hostess and the so called “owner” Julia was giving me a hard time with my order as well. She did not believe that I was missing an order of sushi and refused to give it to me because I had already paid and it was on the receipt. I was shocked at how bad the customer service was for a simple pickup order. The other manager, Bin, tried to talk to Julia and help me out but she would not listen, he deserves a raise for trying to take good care of the customers. The food is good but be cautious if you do decide to eat here, how you will be treated is truly a mystery here!
Good atmosphere. I haven’t tried anything that I didn’t like…except the cocktails aren’t that great.
Maybe it's because we are from Chicago, but the food was so well priced we left thinking we got the bargain of a lifetime. The atmosphere is a little dark and old, but service and food were 10/10.We had a good size party (6 people) and went for dinner after an Auburn Game. The service was outstanding never had an empty water glass, drinks and food served promptly. We must have tried nearly everything on the menu, we got fried calamari to start. Then the table had some sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. We also order two teriyakis and nearly everyone got a miso soup or salad. Not one person was disappointed with the meal.
