Dining in has always been a good experience but we've had several bad experiences with takeout. Check out this $3 portion of fries my wife received today.One another occasion, we ordered a pound of turkey. We get home and at least a quarter of it is a giant hunt of fat. I complained via FB message and got nowhere.On yet another occasion I ordered a two patty cheeseburger (I was planning on getting two meals out of it). We get home and there is one patty. I complained and their highly mediocre response was to refund the difference.Management gets defensive when such mistakes are pointed out rather than embracing the opportunity to make it right.I think we'll stick to dining there from now on, or maybe give up altogether.
This was my second visit but my first impression. The first visit was packed out and had a 45 minute wait. This time we got a table at peak lunch hour with no wait. Started with a walker Texas ranger margarita and it was good albeit on the smaller side but it still packed a buzz. I ordered the beef and cheddar soft tacos with beans and added Mac and cheese. My friend ordered the pepper jack chicken sandwich with fries. Nothing that we ordered was bad and the entrees stole the show as they should. I joked that there wasn't any salt and pepper or condiments on the table but I know why. Everything was seasoned and sauced well enough to stand alone. Looks like they are adding on to the restaurant too which should help avoid those waits. I can't wait to come again and order something else.
They have changed the restaurant a lot since it first opened and added a lot of new items to the menu including some Mexican style dishes, but brisket is still the king here and always good! They are in the process of expanding the dining area but still a great atmosphere and comfortable place to dine in!
Wait time was very long for a Tuesday night, which led me to believe that I was in for a great experience and amazing food.After being seated, our order was taken fairly quickly, drinks came in a reasonable amount of time, and perusal of the menu showed a good variety of BBQ and Mexican style options.Prices were a little higher than I expected, but just thought that was due to the quality or quantity of the portions. Not so. Quality of the food was okay, not great. Portion size was about what you would expect to serve a finicky 6 year old. I ordered the brisket and when it came, the single slice of sandwich bread covered up the three tiny slices of brisket. I don't mean the bread was on top of the brisket, I mean the bread completely hid the brisket. The beans were okay, and I'm fairly certain the mac-n-cheese was out of a box.Overall, the "atmosphere" was that of a trendy outdoorsy restaurant where wealthy people go when they want some BBQ, but don't want to be bothered by the peasants.
Always amazing food & service! From the moment you walk in, the service is outstanding from the hostesses to the wait staff. And the food is next level. We are locals and this place is one of our favorites.
So, so good. Everything had a great taste, was presented well and in a comfy atmosphere.
Great tasting food, we ordered the dinner burger, salad with BBQ, the nachos, chicken sandwich, and cheese dip. The nachos were the best. I wish wish we would've ordered the brisket. I'm not a brisket person, but this was awesome. It was so tender and full of flavor. Our waiter William provided awesome service.
Izzy and Jeana! Fabulous service with fabulous food! They are both amazing, courteous, prompt and exceptional! They must have both waited tables before, fine dining im guessing? Clearly both pros! We loved it and will be back but Only to be served by one of these two! ?
Went to our Annual BBall Game last night WDE…this place was recommended. Such amazing food! We all had the ribs and all of us would randomly mention how good they were the whole night haha. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in Gods Country!
What a long wait but I see why it was worth it. The food was incredible and the staff was great too. Fun place for a birthday dinner!
