I wanted to updated my review. The issue did seem to be corrected. They were serious about making the issue right. The manager the issue was with we had another negative experience with. But was handled. I do recommend being careful about what you order. Somethings are hot, but not labled hot. Was told it was, until he brought the menu and shall that it in fact is not labled as a hot dish. This portion wasn't an issue, but online(ordering from them) my meal is labled spicy, but not on menu in the location. It is not spicy. So there are inconsistencies about what is and is not spicy.But still one of the best places to get sushi.
I play it safe always and get sesame chicken with fried rice. Never disappointed. Solid portion sizes. I almost always have leftovers to take home. The fried gyoza are also good! If you like spicy, try the Mongolian beef.
Worth every penny! Great food and great service. Dining in at Beyond the Wok is always incredible. Great service and every single menu item is incredible. The menu has tons of options with both a Chinese and Japanese menu. Finally found some asian food with a kick in Auburn! Plan on coming here every time I’m in the area!
Disrespectful staff member refused to serve us after we walked in 15 minutes before closing. The door was open and when a business says they are open until 9:30pm that means you are full service until then. You should lock your doors if you don’t want to seat more people. We had just drove from 12 hours from Chicago and told the staff but he had no sympathy. Lacking etiquette completely.
My girlfriend and I have eaten here 3 times now and she always gets the spicy tuna roll. The first time we went she got food poisoning (we decided to give it another shot anyways), the second time she was fine and had no issues so we went again and now she has food poisoning again. Two out of the three times we went she has had food poisoning from the tuna. I however have had no issues with any of the rolls that I have gotten so just stay away from the spicy tuna i guess
Amazing food and great sushi selection! The staff always has a good attitude and takes care of you very well! Def recommended trying them out!
Why is the rice mushy? The fried rice was just some mushy rice with soy sauce drizzled, no eggs, no green onion or seasoning, no flavor! Your sushi rice was also wet and mushy. The sushi the shrimp tempura and spicy tuna Tempora had no taste! The yum yum roll did have a nice flavor on it. I had to stop eating because the wet rice texture was nauseating. I’ve had a lot of fried rice and sushi in my life to comfortably say yours was the worst! I’ll never eat here again. I’m mad I wasted $20 of gift card money on this place.
everything has always been good but my motivation to write a review is the quality of the fish, amazing. I’m a big sashimi gal and this salmon is like BUTTER. Amazing.
Fantastic food,Cucumber salad w house special dressing ,Zhou grilled fish and sliced beef with fiery sauce a chef tour de force- Katy from Taiwan was truly impressed!
Amazing food! Fast service! Food came out so fast! Will definitely be eating here again :)
