Staff is very rude. The manager is the worse!
Worst experience I’ve had at a fast food restaurant in a long time. Waited in line for 25 mins. Got home and every part of our order was wrong. Some of it wasn’t even fit to eat. I bit into a mozzarella stick that was hard as a rock and when I tore it open there wasn’t even any cheese in it. It was just old breading. They lost our business for good.
AWFUL service!! Ordered off the APP. Waited over 35 minutes for 4 drinks. They brought the drinks out and I had ordered RT 44 and they gave us larges but charged us for RT 44. I completely understand places being short staffed right now but over 35 minutes when the drive through line is moving is ridiculous.
Placed an online order. Got to Sonic and Checked In. After waiting for 45 minutes, my order disappeared from the screen. At this point the drive thru is wrapped around the building and I'm trapped in my stall spot. I pushed the button to talk to an employee, explained the situation, and she was INCREDIBLY RUDE about it. Had ZERO concern. Refused to check on my order and told me I'd just have to get in the drive thru and order. After asking for a manager repeatedly, he came and gave me a refund and offered to give me my order. If it wasn't for that, I would've called corporate. Waiting for over an hour for the whole ordeal was not worth it. It could've been made OK with me IMMEDIATELY if it wasn't for the incompetent girl on the headset that was totally rude for no reason at all. I would HIGHLY recommend getting rid of this entire crew and starting over fresh. Forgot to mention the last time I was there and one of the crew members was threatening to fight me and throwing her hands all around like a wild banshee because I came to the window for my mobile order LIKE I WAS TOLD TO DO ? the manager(multi-colored hair lady) shrugged it off when I told her what was happening and didn't care at all. TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE!
I had very unfortunate experience I was charged incorrectly which isn't a big deal but then I was given the wrong food after wait 15+ min on my order the order I received even if it was what I ordered I would be let down. These are the tots that was put in bag just a bunch moosh the quality of this establishment is just poor . Very disappointed because iv been to many sonics that are managed properly and effectively and they are great fast food restaurants
If only they had a zero star, I ordered online, the drive thru was moving slow and they have chairs blocking the stalls so I went to the patio and asked if they could just bring it to me there and their reply was oh well we have no car hops so it's drive thru only. I have waited two hours for a medium milk shake. Maybe if sonic would pay their car hops minimum wage instead of $3.12 and hour they wouldn't have that problem. But how hard is it to make my milkshake and bring it to me on the patio??
If you’re looking to kill an hour or more of time, then by all means go to this sonic. Doesn’t matter if you’re the only car in line, you’ll wait forever, forever and a day if there’s more then 1 car in the line, and you might as well bring a tent and camp if they get up to 3, it apparently causes a panic and no one knows what to do... The stall is even worse, I tried to avoid the line since all I wanted was a slushee and went to a stall, I hit the button twice and no one ever answered so I left and went to McDonald’s.. I love their pretzel twists but the last few times I’ve ordered, they burnt them and they’re hard as bricks. Bad service all around
If you are looking for a great breakfast burrito, Sonic is the place to go in Athens. Lunch in the other hand is quite a different story. Once it becomes lunchtime I recommend avoiding it at all costs. First, the service is slow even when there is no one in line. They served their milkshake with ice cream and other sticky stuff all outside the cup. If you order something with chili on it, they hardly put any on your food as if they just dipped the spoon in the bowl of chili, and then wiped the bottom of the spoon in your food. The tater tots are dark brown as if the oil they are cooked in doesn't get changed at all. Because if the great breakfast they serve, I have given them a couple chances at lunch in the last couple of weeks, and it was the same both times. There will not be a third.
Good drinks options. Though natual lemonade did not taste natural.0422- poor service. After waiting for 15+ minutes they said that they were only taking orders at drivethrough. Why did not they put up a sign at the entrance or place cones in parking slots? Pathetic
The food was good and the lady (4-7-22) handing everyone their orders was super sweet. It wasn’t just for me cause I heard her talking with the other guests as well. Came here during lunch time and it was really fast. :)
