I have passed this restaurant 100 times but didn't try it because of the outside look. There are always tons of cars there for lunch. We took a chance and the inside was very clean and a wonderful selection. We had the Caribbean Chicken and Grilled Shrimp. Best food in Athens!! Flavorful, well prepared and plated and a super value. We went at dinner on a week night so it wasn't as crowded. Sorry we did not try Ro's sooner!
Great service, great food, and great value. .Will definitely come back. Fried cheesecake. was delish!
We have always loved Roes Grille but today I decided to try something new. The 3 Little Pigs Tacos are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend them!
AWESOME let's start with our waiter Lane. He was very attentive and very sweet even though it was a packed house. He was running with a smile the whole time. The food did not disappoint. It came out hot, fresh and quicker than expected due to them being so busy. Definitely try the loaded pups (hush puppies). I can't say enough. Every one was great. Great experience and will definitely come back.
Quaint atmosphere just steps from the hustle of downtown. Service is friendly and exceptional. The food was fashionably plated, well prepared and bursting with flavor. The abnormally large glasses were a welcomed addition.
They picked up on first call, hostess was sweet and double checked everything with me when I went to pickup! brownie and ice cream was SUPER good, Caribbean chicken very yummy, Burger was decent, steak was cooked perfect. No butter on loaded baked potatoes (?) French fries yummy and everything was hot. wanted something of quality and local on a road trip and this satisfied everyone! Great job guys.
My husband and I always try to find locally owned restaurants in the area around us. We came across Ro's by accident. The food and service were amazing. My husband had a ribeye and I had steak tips and grilled chicken. We would not hesitate to cone back. This is definitely one of my davorite local places we've found. As a heads up though they close from 3 to 4pm every day between lunch and dinner. There was a big line to get in starting at 3:45.
Can't believe my first time eating here. Was in Athens today and decided to try it for lunch. Was not disappointed. Everything on their menu looks great. I had the philly but will sample other items on returning visits. Friendly staff and prices very reasonable.
We drove to Athens, AL while a visit to Nashville. There was to be heavy rain and tornado warnings in Nashville so we drove to Athens to check it out. Cute small town and wanted to eat at Ro's Grille. It wasn't open early but opened in time for lunch. Apparently a local favorite as it quickly filled up. Food was plentiful and hearty. Staff very friendly. Ordered a sweet tea to go===so delicious. Just what you want a Southern sweet tea to taste like!
Actually! I really like the foods there BUT something that I cannot accepted is no manners or the rules of work.We ordered a food to go and while we pay and waiting for the food, one of the waitress swing her broom like a baseball bat try to clean the dust at 7.30pm hit the customers shoes and still keep going doesn’t matter what customers say, dust was all over the area.I understand she need to clean to make a restaurant look clean but that is not a right time to clean while at least 7-8 customers standing there some to pay , some to wait for the table or some to wait for their foods.Rudeness!
