Always pleased by Popeyes red beans and rice. One of the few "fast food" items anywhere that tastes great.
I ordered two 16 piece chickens. They told me they had one ready and it would be 12 minutes on the other. 20 minutes later when I called the lady snapped at me and said I’m packing up your chicken now. So rude

please if you door dash do not take there orders i waited in line for 45 min ...they would not answer the phone for door dash when they called several times....they do not like door dash or dashers and have let it be none....they need to be taken off the door dash market as everytime i went there its been over 30 min waits...but never had to wait over 45 min ...i got there at 7 and completed the order at 8 ...
It's fast food so you take even more of a risk now. Seems like smaller size chicken. Fries were cold. Chicken seemed old. I called from the parking lot and live 5 min away. So I picked it up right away and got home even faster. All the portions are a touch lighter, but when you are feeding 5 people, that little bit matters. Like I said, it's always a risk with fast food. It's just more disappointing when it's a "budget splurge". Won't attempt again.
The Popeyes in Athens is a real gem. The chicken ? is really good and they have good specials. Unlike the one in Decatur, they actually let you substitute...

Juicy fried chicken when freshly made and arguably one of the best fast food chicken sandwiches out there. Their chicken sizes tends to be smaller than other establishments.
Chicken had to be cooked a day before I got it. So dry, not spicy. End of chicken wing like leather. Leg looked like it came off a pigon. So small. And yet, high priced. Don't go here. Last 4 visits, same experience. And it was lunch time.
Came here to pick up a doordash order and they refused to let me take it. Not happy with that kind of service especially since me being able to do deliveries depends on places being cooperative and actually letting dashers pick up the food. Definitely not happy
